THE CITY OF NEW YORK OFFICE OF THE MAYOR NEW YORK, NY 10007

September 30, 2010

Dear Friends: It is a great pleasure to welcome everyone to the 2010 AVENUE Shows Antiques & Art at the Armory. Throughout the week, designers, collectors, and shoppers will gather at the Park Avenue Armory for a celebration of fine antiques and art from all around the world. These festivities — and all the work of AVENUE Shows — will go a long way towards keeping New York City an international cultural capital, and I commend those whose hard work and dedication have made it possible. I want to extend a special welcome to all of our guests who are visiting New York City this week, and encourage them to explore everything that drew more than 45 million visitors to the five boroughs last year. Experience the magic of a Broadway show and the awe-inspiring sight of our skyline from the Staten Island Ferry. Walk the historic Brooklyn Bridge and taste every variety of world cuisine in America’s most international City. No matter what your interests, there’s so much to do and see here — it would take a lifetime to experience it all. Enjoy your stay! On behalf of the City of New York, please accept my best wishes for an enjoyable event and continued success. Sincerely,

Michael R. Bloomberg Mayor

Dear Friends: It is with both pleasure and pride that we welcome you to the 2010 AVENUE Antiques & Art at the Armory Show. With over 60 extraordinary exhibitors offering something from every category, era and level of interest, we are pleased to present an unprecedented selection that runs the gamut from early 1700s porcelain to 2010 contemporary art and rugs. This year we honor traditions, old and new. We are grateful for the continued support of all of our returning dealers and marketing partners and we welcome aboard a wonderful array of new partners. We celebrate the 35th anniversary and significant history of our driving force AVENUE magazine, and look toward its exciting future. We are honored to officially kick-off the New York City fair season with our new “Fall” show and, of course, to continue the rich tradition of producing antique and art shows in Manhattan’s most iconic venue, the Park Avenue Armory. Please stroll, shop, take respite in the Ligne Roset lounge area and/or in the Great Performances cafe, enjoy the AVENUE New York Icons Gallery and attend a Royal Oak Foundation lecture (see schedule for dates and times) in the Show Event Room. Thank you to all of our exhibitors, sponsors and support teams for their hard work, expertise and passion that make the Antiques & Art at the Armory Show a most elegant, but accessible, show. We pride ourselves in our endeavor, a show defined by quality and design. Please sign up for the latest information on our upcoming Spring 2011 Armory Show (March 10-13) and more. We greatly appreciate your visit and look forward to seeing you again soon. Sincerely,

Barbara Goodwin Director The AVENUE Shows

“I recommend that experienced as well as aspiring collectors consider

Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine.” Louis M. Salerno, Owner Questroyal Fine Art, LLC New York, NY

The Salon at Questroyal Fine Art, LLC, 903 Park Avenue, Suite 3A & B (at 79th Street), New York, NY 10075 www.questroyalfineart.com

Art dealer and collector Lou Salerno says, “Here at Questroyal we offer important American nineteenth- and twentieth-century American paintings. Collectors often ask my opinion concerning art publications; I recommend that experienced as well as aspiring collectors consider Fine Art Connoisseur. It insightfully reviews a broad spectrum of art with a contemporary sensibility that is invaluable to the twenty-first-century collector. ”
