Bell Helicopter to open new aircraft assembly facility in LA KBR Inc. announced today that KBR Building Group, a subsidiary within KBR's Services Group, has been awarded a contract to construct Bell Helicopter’s new facility in Lafayette, LA.The project is scheduled for completion by June 2015. Bell Helicopter will use the facility to assemble its newest commercial helicopter, the Bell 505 Jet Ranger XTM.

Just in time for the busy holiday travel season, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) today announced that the Washington, D.C.
