Panel Discussion: Understanding Data within your Organization

With so many companies data rich but information poor, how your business utilizes data is a key differentiator between you and your competitors. Beyond just capturing, data must be understood. Is it relevant? Complete? Single source? Only once these factors are understood, can you harness data to meet your business problems. This session will unpack the key steps to integrate efficient data use into your operation.

Panel

Discussion:

Bridging the Gap between Corporate Leadership & Technology Teams

Between these two crucial parts of aerospace, defense and commercial aviation businesses there are often two different languages being spoken. Companies need to bridge the gap so that we can validate technologies and benefit from the positive changes in efficiency that technology can bring. It is crucial that companies can develop base infrastructure to be able to meet emerging technologies head on. How can organizations come together to get ahead?

Panel Discussion: Transparency in Data Sharing & Relieving Supply Chain Disruptions

Enabling data sharing down the supply chain is crucial to building transparency and better predicting supply chain issues. How can this be achieved efficiently between partners while protecting critical information? How can we bridge the growing divide between OEM & Tier 1 capabilities and smaller organizations? What are the specific barriers of entry to industry 4.0 for lower tier organizations and how can they be overcome to ensure the digital thread is far reaching?

Collaborative Digital Threads: Accelerating Certification of Emerging Tech

Abstract: Digital Threads and Twins have transformed how aircraft are built, now it’s time to allow them to accelerate the system that certifies them for safe flight. Commercial technologies like eVTOL, digital twins, and hydrogen are fueling a revolution in aerospace. Cutting edge capabilities are challenging assumptions and speeding up decision cycles for regulators, but government certification systems have struggled to keep up. The FAA, U.S. Air Force and NASA have demonstrated willingness to innovate, but rigid certification architectures are dragging on the industry. The certification system is primed for a digital transformation. Robust digital bridges between requirements, design, build, testing, and most importantly, certification will unlock software-enable, responsive architectures.

Dr. Will Roper, Founder & CEO, Istari
