MRO Australasia took place on May 17-18, 2023 at the Sofitel Brisbane Central, Australia.
After an exciting and successful inaugural event in 2020, the second edition gathered the MRO community once again to explore the crucial issues impacting regional stakeholders.
The Queensland Government were the host sponsor for the conference, which gathered 360+ attendees representing airlines, MROs, OEMs, lessors and suppliers.
The event concluded with a guided tour around the Qantas Engineering Facility located at Brisbane Airport.

Situated directly outside the conference room, delegates were able to network during the breakout sessions, foster new relationships, strengthen existing ones, and expand their reach across the community.

Unique to MRO Australasia, the ‘Meet the Buyer’ business card exchange was an opportunity for suppliers to meet with buyers in an informal, speed networking style session.
Lasting an hour, buyers were behind nominated tables, with suppliers entering the room in waves for 5-minute informal meetings.
The session was immediately followed by a networking reception sponsored by Heston MRO, for the conversations to continue in a relaxed setting.

Exclusively available to MRO Australasia attendees, Qantas hosted a tour of their Engineering Base Maintenance facilities located at Brisbane Airport.
Immediately following the close of the conference, attendees were transported to the facility, to tour bays of both narrowbody and widebody maintenance totalling over 40,000 square meters of maintenance capacity, including visits to supply chain, hangars 2 and 3 and associated workshops.
