WELCOMING A FRESH NEW SEASON

WITH SPRING IN FULL BLOOM, the rebirth of the season brings the promise of new beginnings. From fashions to food, design to décor, gardens to golf—spring has indeed sprung and we couldn’t be more excited.

I’m dreaming of fresh-from-the-garden vegetables and serving up brunch with seasonal favorites. To get you in the mood, we’ve rounded up some impressive brunch spots as well as must-try recipes to create a spring brunch for the books (pg. 16). And brunch wouldn’t be brunch without a colorful cocktail, or two. We caught up with a local distiller with botanical and citrus-forward cocktails to ring in the season (pg. 20).

This year, spring cleaning is all about the latest new design concepts like those offered from Ascent Living (pg. 26) and of course, the renaissance of wallpaper (pg. 30).

Now, it wouldn’t be Spring without the fleurs! With the crocuses starting to peak out, redbud trees blooming along with hyacinths, tulips and daffodils—it’s a feast for the eyes, and one local flower farmer is inspiring more gardeners to play in the dirt (pg. 60).

Finally, art imitates life as we follow Monet through an artist’s view of Paris and the gardens that inspired his masterpieces (pg. 64).
