• Upstairs windows may vary in depth due to lower roof restrictions and/or minimum transom height requirements

• Small windows such as 0906 windows, typically to WC’s, Bathrooms and Ensuites should be sliding windows to lower floor and awning windows to upper floor

• Double hung windows are not to be used under any circumstances

• MPR windows should be 1500mm deep x 1800mm wide (minimum) sliding OX windows with no horizontal transom

• Kitchens with a window at the end of galley style kitchen should be 1809 Awning (single panel)

o So, for example, an MPR with a width of 3000mm would have an 1800mm wide window. An MPR with a width of 3600mm would have an 2400mm wide window.

• Ensuites should include double basin vanity units wherever space allows, if insufficient space a single bowl vanity is acceptable

• Windows to Bedrooms and Living Spaces should typically be a minimum of 900mm wide. 600mm wide windows should only be used by exception at the discretion of the Design Team

• Bedroom 2,3 and 4 should be 1218 OX sliding windows

o When determining window width allow approx. 600mm on either side of window to allow for furnishing.

• Generally, across the board all sliding windows should be OX configuration

• WIR’s to include 900mm wide square set opening (no hinged door). Where space dictates, opening can be reduced but only to a minimum of 800mm. Height of opening 2100mm.

o Sliding doors should be tagged with door dimension
