Our current portfolio of 45 projects in near-city and sought-after regional locations in Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales reflects a gross revenue pipeline of $5 billion, with 75,000 residents living within AVID communities.

Our holdings encompass broadacre land projects, masterplanned communities, completed house and land packages and apartments, with our portfolio to expand with the introduction of resort communities.

In 2019, AVID Property Group acquired ASX-listed Villa World Limited which extended our land holdings and added a home construction business to our portfolio.

This acquisition expanded our expertise and added diversity, scale and superior building capability through the home construction business.

We created Villaworld Homes by AVID Property Group, thus enabling our customers to fulfill their home ownership dream through one affordable, convenient contract, with a low deposit, no progress payments and an easy process. Homes are thoughtfully designed inside and out by our experienced team, with all details considered and everything included in the fixed price.

Acknowledged as Queensland’s Professional Major Builder by the HIA 2023, we subsequently received the highly coveted national title of 2024 HIA Australian Professional Major Builder. Vantage Resort Communities

AVID Property Group launched Vantage by AVID Property Group, its land lease communities (LLC) business in early 2024, expanding its portfolio into an entirely new market and customer base. AVID’s entry into land lease communities marked a significant milestone for the business and acts as an extension of its vision – to create affordable and connected multigenerational communities.

Establishing an LLC business has been a long-term and critical component of AVID’s growth strategy, looking to deliver a housing solution catered to the growing ageing population. The move into the sector allows AVID to expand and diversify its portfolio as well as secure and retain land long-term – solidifying its position as one of Australia’s top residential developers.

Vantage is AVID’s LLC housing model, offering a unique home ownership solution that provides opportunities for reducing the maintenance associated with a family-sized home in a highly engaged community. Through Vantage, there is an opportunity for AVID to broaden its housing choices by creating high-quality designs that are fully completed within a secure, lifestyle-enhancing community for this market.

We know that historically, only about eight per cent of residents in our residential and masterplanned communities are over 55 years of age, and we wanted to provide a solution that would capture the attention of this market and add value to our established communities.

Vantage by AVID is our unique approach to land lease community living. With the addition of LLC to our portfolio, there is now an AVID housing offer suitable for a range of customers – no matter their stage of life, from first home buyer to empty nester. As an added bonus, by making the move to a LLC, older Australians can unlock new housing stock, freeing up their large family homes for the next generation of families.

We are exceptionally proud to be the first Australian residential developer to achieve EnviroDevelopment certification across our entire portfolio of masterplanned communities. This acknowledgement helps our customers to easily identify a home that has been built in a sustainable way with features that help them minimise future impact and save money.

Created by the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA), EnviroDevelopment is an assessment system that independently reviews development projects and awards certification to those that achieve outstanding performance across four or more sustainability categories. AVID strives to achieve a 6-Leaf EnviroDevelopment certification for every one of our communities.

is a responsibility for developers to create spaces with as minimal impact on the environment as possible, so it’s great to see industry leaders like AVID realise these practices.

Community

Through thoughtful masterplan design and engaging community initiatives and programs, we create neighbourhoods that bring people together and we turn these neighbourhoods into thriving connected communities.

Ecosystems

AVID strives to protect existing ecosystems, encourage biodiversity, and rehabilitate degraded sites. Waterwise plants are used throughout our landscaping to minimise water-use and create a natural habitat for native wildlife.

Energy

Across everything we do, we seek out ways to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emission and meet EnviroDevelopment benchmarks. Not only does this help the environment, but also lower utility costs.

Materials

We carefully consider and encourage the use of local, recycled and re-used building materials, and low-emission products whenever we can, to minimise our environmental impact and foster healthier living.

Waste

We work hard across every aspect of our building and delivery to ensure good management of waste, from recycling of construction material to minimising on-site pollution and promoting initiatives to reduce waste to landfill.

Water

We implement measures throughout our communities to reduce reliance on potable water, including using waterwise plants in landscaping, and recycling wastewater for irrigation of parks, streetscapes and gardens.

Since 2018, AVID has been a proud supporter of Take 3 for the Sea. A global movement committed to removing plastic pollution from the environment and minimising waste.

As a proud partner, AVID regularly hosts events and activities to influence change in each of our communities and to date, has helped to reach and inspire more than two million Australians.

Through our local events, such as clean up days, school education programs, film screenings and digital awareness campaigns, we continue to champion Take 3’s message within all AVID communities. In doing so, we aim to empower residents to become change leaders, reduce the amount of plastic that ends up in waterways and oceans, and ultimately, assist us in creating sustainable communities and a cleaner environment to be enjoyed for generations to come.

From the sales team ensuring we match the land or home that the customer seeks, to providing industry-leading excellence in service along the way to make sure customers understand the detail. Our marketing team takes on the role of informing, educating and showcasing the tangible benefits of the customer’s decision making with authentic and timed communication, from front end nurturing through to our purchase service program, AVIDConnect.

Our community development team invites connection across the community though a selection of events that have been curated and targeted to the market.

The development and construction team work with Councils to ensure delivery of new blocks of land and innovative designed homes surrounding by communities with considered amenities and facilities in the manner and time specified. When all of these elements are playing their role then we have done our job; we have delivered what we owe to the customer. We don’t underestimate the importance of getting all of these elements right. If our customers are satisfied they will refer AVID and our AVIDRewards program recognises their advocacy.

Our governance structure has been designed to enable independent auditing and objective risk management throughout the business.

The structure and hierarchy in place consists of the Board, the CEO and the Executive Management Team, each of which plays an integral role in the oversight of AVID Property Group’s governance and performance. This corporate structure is formalised through the Committee Charters, Delegations of Authority, Code of Conduct and a comprehensive set of policies and procedures including a robust Operations Manual which form a fundamental part of AVID Property Group’s risk management, control and governance system. These policies and procedures remain under constant review as the corporate governance environment evolves.

The health and safety of our team and contractors is fundamental to everything we do at AVID, and we pride ourselves on our Workplace Health, Safety and Environment (WHSE) practices across all of our projects, communities and offices.

However, our focus on WHSE extends beyond our team and offices – it extends right through to our customers, stakeholders and the neighbourhoods where we create communities. It’s about ensuring that we, as a business, do not adversely impact the local community or environment.

With a focus on leaving a legacy, we are proud to be officially certified with International Standards for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (ISO45001) and International Standard for Environmental Management Systems (ISO14001).

These certifications reflect our emphasis on minimising our impact on the environment and provides our residents with the confidence of knowing we are continually striving to improve our sustainability initiatives. But it’s not just our respect for the environment that meets international standards, it’s also the care we show for our people, with these accreditations recognising our ongoing commitment to the safety and wellbeing of those who really matter.

Training

As an organisation, we ensure all staff, contractors and consultants are aware of their WHSE obligations and train everyone in the best practice for their worksite – be that a construction site, the office or even while working from home.
