Welcome to the future

Welcome To The Future The Dragonfly helicopter is light, fast and strong. Built within the quality parameters that guide the successful aviation industry, the Dragonfly is considered a significant step in airspace evolution. It is powered by hydrogen peroxide used as a thrust for the jetpropulsion system, and its only emissions are water vapor and oxygen. We eliminate cumbersome issues such as heavy conventional engines that must require gearboxes, belts and gizmos in order to operate the blades to generate the precious magic of “The Lift”. The Dragonfly vectors are straightforward, using no gears, no heavy engine, no hydraulics, and no pedals since we do not fight to compensate for the earth’s magnetic precession [axis of rotation].

20:1 Power Ratio The Dragonfly blades turn in complete harmony with the earth’s movement and the tail blades are used for maneuverability only, not to cancel conventional engine torque. The use of a conventional engine, with belts, pulleys and gears generate a confusing route to translate the vector, causing difficulty in relation to the physics and mechanics, until finally the vector is normalized to rotate the blades. Mechanically speaking, we lose a great deal of the engine efficiency. Significant loss in efficiency also occurs with traditional helicopters with the effort to lift their own heavy engines [which weighs around 300 to 400 lbs., while the Dragonfly rockets weigh 3.6 lbs.] The Dragonfly is affordable without costly maintenance, easy to fly, and easy to operate. 

The Dragonfly helicopter is built within ISO parameters, with all proprietary parts installed and customized by Avimech, the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer). Also, we preserve the hardware quality and selection, including nuts and bolts within the military specifications and quality controlled. All parts have full traceability to comply with the FAA (United States Federal Aviation Administration). Avimech supervises the entire process, a full detailed QMS – Quality Management System monitoring each step of assembly. All components are fully tested using industryleading technology to perform NDIs-Non Destructive Inspections including thermal, stress, and X-ray. We take flight machines seriously, with respect to quality, safety, and free carbon emission.

Each unit possesses wonderful stability to operate against strong winds and an impressive take-off time of less than 30 seconds. Operation is barely above the sound impact of a normal conversation [65 decibels], registering a quiet 72 decibels. The cost of maintenance on a conventional helicopter can approach the cost of the initial purchase. Combined with the cost of fuel, the actual cost of a conventional helicopter over its lifetime becomes as weighty as its engine. Because the dragonfly is designed and built to be maintenance free, with only the cost of hydrogen peroxide for propellant.

The Dragonfly DFU (Drone) expects to have high demand as it can be applied on tasks such as: human search and rescue missions, disaster recover recovery, surveillance, crop dusting, and medical equipment deliveries in difficult areas. They are able to handle 800 lbs. payloads.

The Dragonfly drone, the future of sustainable aviation, is available today. It is able to perform with high reliability any important tasks controlled by the high-tech ground-based software platform using autopilot.

Flying a helicopter was never so simple or sustainable until the The Dragonfly.
