Agent Provocateur Kristie Bikini I love a bikini. No, seriously, I LOVE a bikini. I own over 30 different ones from 50s retro to itsy bitsy. If I could pack only one thing then the perfect bikini would be it. This head-turning gem from Agent Provocateur is top of my wish list right now and will guarantee you the right kind of admiring looks as you sashay along the playa this summer. Ok, so it might not be great for tan lines but hell, who cares when you’ll look this hot!
Estee Lauder’s Bronze Goddess skin scent This smells like a beach in a bottle and reminds me of holidays, even when it’s wet and grey outside. Those discerning people at Estee Lauder bring this little baby out every summer and it sells out within seconds. Spritz liberally after a day in the sun and grab yourself a bottle while you can!
Victoria’s Secret Travel tote in leopard print I found this gorgeous folding tote at the airport on a recent trip to Italy and it has become my new favourite thing ever! Stylish and incredibly roomy, it opens up to accommodate all your girlie stuff and is big enough for all your weekend (possibly longer) must-haves. It also has a shoulder strap and is waterproof – perfect for the beach.
Isabel Marant Jepson Jersey Scarf I detest air con on a plane so I always travel with a comforting scarf. This multi-functional little beauty from my favourite designer of the moment, Isabel Marant, is perfect for the plane andbig enough for wrapping around you while you watch the sun go down at Café Del Mar, aperitif in hand, obviously. Accessorise and All Saints also have a fantastic and reasonably priced selection.
Oversized shades The bigger the better. Not only will they protect your delicate skin from sun damage (the fastest way of aging the skin) they just look so damn good. Victoria Beckham is queen of the OS and these pair she designed tick all the boxes for me. Bit pricey at a little under £500, but the high street have some similar styles at a fraction of the price. And lastly…. A man! In my opinion, there is nothing better than watching a beautiful sunset with someone you love, skin sun-warm from a day on the beach, mojito in one hand, the other in his as you watch the sun slip into the sea. Aw, I’m such a romantic at heart!
