Holiday Elixir Punch by Michelle Powell at The Hungr y Traveler
Nice served in a punch bowl or glass pitchers. As you prepare, this recipe should be tasted to your liking. Quantities will vary on the amount of people being served. Always go easy on lime, lemon, or grapefruit.
Ingredients • 2 lemons • 4 oranges (You can use navel, mandarin, or a combination of different types.) • 1 bottle of white grape juice (white grape juice makes a difference) • 1 bottle of light-colored Ocean Spray juices (or any brand) (ex: peach, white cranberry) • 4 oz. pineapple juice (no pulp). Don’t use a lot of pineapple • 4 oz. limes or lime juice • 1 *bottle(s) of ginger ale (add right before serving so soda doesn’t go flat) I use Canada Dry because it has more ginger flavor
Instructions 1. Combine, stir, taste to your liking. Refrigerate - best served cold. 2. Adorn punch with sliced oranges, lemons (any other fruit you can slice to add to punch on top). Remove seeds. 3. For the “Imbibers” add Disaronno, Grand Marnier, or light-colored fruity liqueur.

Spicy Chipotle Pineapple Martini by Mike Julius at Carnival Cruise Lines
Ingredients • 2 oz. vodka, flavored w/ jalapeños • 1 oz. chipotle pineapple syrup • 1 oz. pineapple juice • ½ oz. simple syrup • 6-8 mint leaves
Instructions Fill a cocktail shaker with ice & add the vodka, chipotle pineapple syrup, pineapple juice, simple syrup, & mint leaves (reserve one leaf for garnish). Shake vigorously. Strain into a
martini glass. To garnish, smack the reserved mint leaf between your palms, and float it on top of the cocktail.
TIPS To make the spicy vodka, add three jalapeños with the seeds removed to one bottle of vodka, this will produce plenty of spicy kick. You can certainly add more peppers if you like things extra hot or just use traditional vodka to cut back on the heat. Let vodka sit for a few days to soak in the jalapeño flavor. You can order the chipotle pineapple syrup from Monin (www.monin.com) or ask your local liquor store. To make simple syrup, combine equal parts of granulated sugar and water; i.e. 2 cups sugar to 2 cups water and bring to boil, dissolving sugar. For a Holiday Twist, add a sprig of rosemary and float fresh cranberries or pomegranate seeds on top.
