A bicycle specialist will deliver your bike and adjust it to your specifications. We use fully-equipped touring bicycles: Puncture resistant hybrid tires ideal for road cycling but with some tread to give you the security you need on dirt track sections, 21 or 24 gears, comfort seat, front suspension, adjustable handle bars, bike stand, mudguards, bottle holder as standard.

Day 1: Arrival to Olot. Your tour begins in the interesting town of Olot, the capital of the Garrotxa Natural Park.

Day 3: Olot - Les Planes d´Hostoles. 26km / Climb: 170m Follow the “Carrilet” cycle path, a disused railway line with no traffic, and mainly going downhill and enjoy the wooded countryside and mountains around you as you pedal. Day 4: Les Planes d´Hostoles - Girona. 33km / Climb: 10m Another cycle along the cycle path to Girona where you will have plenty of time to explore the city centre of this charming medieval town. Day 5: Girona - Sant Feliu de Guixols. 43km / Climb: 140m A longer ride today along the cycle path but still easy and fairly flat, to get to the beautiful Costa Brava. All the cycling is done on tarmac, using touring bikes, not mountain bikes. You will cycle beside the Camino for much of the way along small roads, but when roads become busier, closer to Santiago, we have selected a parallel route along beautiful countryside which avoid busier main roads.

Day 1: Arrival to Astorga. Arrival to the monumental and historic town of Astorga. Day 2: Astorga - Molinaseca. 49km / Climb: 707m Enjoy spectacular views as you cycle along little country roads through the mountains of Leon to Cruz the Ferro (the iron cross) and on to the beautiful medieval village of Molinaseca. Day 3: Molinaseca - O’Cebreiro. 58km / Climb: 939m Cycle 25 Km amongst vineyards to reach the beautiful town of Villafranca. Later climb O´Cebreiro, where green region of Galicia starts.

Day 4: O’Cebreiro - Sarria. 44km / Climb: 258m An easier cycle today as you descend to the town of Samos where we find one of the oldest and most beautiful monasteries in Spain, the Benedictine monastery of Samos. Day 5: Sarria - Palas de Rei. 48km / Climb: 1177m Continue along little country roads and ancient paths along rolling hills to end the day in Palais de Rei: a small town full of the pilgrim spirit. Day 6: Palas de Rei - Rua. 60km / Climb: 1170m Today´s ride does not have great climbs but it is a constant up and down that can be quite tiring. We will ride enjoying the Galician countryside. During the day you will go through the town of Melide that is famous for its “pulperías” where they serve superb octopus. Day 7: Rua - Santiago de Compostela. 27km / Climb: 599m The Camino leads you into the very heart of this unique city of pilgrims, into the Plaza de Obradoiro overlooking the Cathedral built in honour of Saint James, Santiago. Day 8: Departure or extra nights. 27km / Climb: 599m Departure or extra nights in Santiago de Compostela.

1. Prices. All prices we quote are inclusive of our handling fees and VAT and, where published, are correct at the time of publication. 2. If you cancel your booking. Any cancellation must be notified to us in writing and will only be effective upon receipt of such written notification. Depending on the reasons of your cancellation, you may be able to reclaim these cancellation charges from your insurance company, if you have taken our travel insurance. We strongly recommend that all clients obtain appropriate travel and personal insurance cover. 3. If you alter your booking. If you wish to alter your booking (e.g., change the dates of your holiday), we will use all our reasonable efforts to comply with your request, however we reserve the right to charge an amendment fee of 60â‚Ź and you will be obliged to pay for any additional expenses that are incurred as a result (eg cancellation fees payable to hotels and other suppliers). If you decide to change your holiday in any way once it has commenced (eg change accommodation or the duration of your stay) we accept no liability for any loss, damage, or additional expense and we cannot guarantee a refund of any costs already paid by you. 4. If we cancel your booking. In exceptional circumstances we may find it necessary to cancel your booking and if so, we shall make all reasonable efforts to offer a suitable alternative. If this is not acceptable we will refund your deposit, and any other sum you have paid to us which shall constitute full resettlement. 5. If we alter you booking. If it is necessary to alter the confirmed itinerary before departure, we shall use all reasonable efforts to notify you as soon as possible and make alternative arrangements. If this is not acceptable we will refund your deposit, and any other sum you have paid to us which shall constitute full resettlement.
