Sandworld Sculpture Park Sandworld is an all weather attraction created by local artists to showcase the talents of International and UK Sand Sculptors. Visitors are encouraged to "have a go" at sand sculpting. Activities such as filling sand bottles are available at extra cost, and a gift shop and café completes the experience. 13-minute drive, DT4 7SX Durdledoor and lulworth cove A famous natural arch and a beautiful secluded cove; their existence owed to the collision of continents and the birth of the Alps. If you visit Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, look carefully and you will notice that the layers exposed in the cliffs are tilting steeply to the north. 30-minute drive, BH20 5PU

Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens The Garden is a mixture of formal and informal flower beds, world famous for its camellia groves and magnolias. Noted in Dorset for its rhododendron and hydrangea collections and the charming Victorian Garden.
