We would like to welcome everyone to the Eddie Wood 2017 Cowtown Classic Longhorn Sale, the first sale of the year. Once again, the Eddie Wood Cowtown Classic offers something for everyone, including proven producing mature females, very high quality young females, and we are starting the sale with an amazing group of heifers to help take your programs to the next level. We feel we have succeeded in putting together an extraordinary bunch of cattle for you. The sale is one of the most efficient tools we have as breeders to expose our cattle and get them in front of the public, being a part of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. We would encourage all TLBAA members to take part in our Directors Meeting and the Annual General Membership Meeting, along with the Hall of Fame and Year-End Awards Banquet on Friday while you’re in Fort Worth. Also for your enjoyment, the TLBT youth show on Monday at 9 a.m. and the TLBAA World Qualifying open haltered show on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. The Eddie Woods Cowtown Classic is an excellent opportunity to start 2017 off with a cooperative and supportive attitude to make this year very productive for the TLBAA. SELLERS: Must be active members, in good standing of the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America. BIDDING: Each animal will be sold to the highest bidder with reserve. BIDDING DISPUTES: The auctioneer in charge will settle any disputes as to bids, and his decision on such matters shall be final. TERMS: Terms of the sale are cash, check or credit card to the clerk at the conclusion of the sale. Checks are to be made payable to Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America. POSSESSION: Immediately after the animal is sold, it will be the sole risk and responsibility of the buyer thereof, but possession cannot be obtained by buyer until payment is made. CERTIFICATES: A TLBAA certificate of registration will be furnished and transferred to the purchaser on each lot in the sale, excluding calves at side. HEALTH: Individual state requirements should be considered by bidders before purchasing. BREEDING GUARANTEE: Breeder guarantees are strictly between the individual consignor and the purchaser at the sale. All calves at side are given to the purchaser free and carry no guarantee. NOTICE: The purchaser must look to the seller for fulfillment of all guarantees and representations made hereunder. PEDIGREES: The information on the pedigrees of the animals announced has been furnished by the seller.
