I am often reminded of one of my favorite Proverbs, #15 - A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. I hate to say it, but I sometimes think that people like to use “grievous words” with the purposeful intent to “stir up anger.” Have you ever been in a meeting and think to yourself, why would he/she say that or say it the way they did. I have, and I feel as though the meeting just ended after that person spoke.
