No limits to what our own Axis people will do for the Axis Foundation and Demelza

Everyone who works at Axis cherishes the Foundation and Demelza. They’ve been up (and got down) to many activities to raise money for Demelza and the Axis Foundation! Their contributions have helped our Foundation achieve a remarkable milestone this year – £2m donated to small, local impactful causes. Here’s just a few examples!

EVERY WITCH WAY

The Axis Oldbury Team organised a fiendish Pumpkin Clues Treasure Hunt as well as a raffle for a Halloween Sweet Hamper. Their devilish enthusiasm raised £45 for the Axis Foundation.

MR BLUE SKY

Performance Manager Raees Gillani’s skydive took him soaring through his target to raise £585.

“Doing this dive as part of a greater cause for Demelza means there is now value in this perhaps not quite sane act!”

WHEELIE GREAT

Our Projects team, sponsored by many of our kind subcontractors and suppliers, cycled from London to Paris in 24 hours. If I can make a small but meaningful contribution to both these fantastic organisations by giving up some of my time and sweat, then it's a win win all round"

MARATHON MASTER

Ben Ibrahim, Divisional Manager, completed the London Marathon in 4 hours 18 minutes, gathering momentum – and a massive £14,600. “I was very proud to run the marathon for Demelza. What Demelza do for children and families is amazing! The people who work there are special and they're all an inspiration to me"

We hosted Queen’s Platinum Jubilee tea parties with our residents: the perfect excuse to enjoy cakes and goodies with colleagues and raise £155 for Demelza too.
