PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Umut Museum and Park is a memorial complex that takes visitors on a transformative journey through the emotional stages of tragedy, transition, and hope. The project, inspired by Turkey's catastrophic earthquake on February 6th, honors the memories of over 50,000 victims while embodying resilience and renewal.
The park is a sloped plot that blends seamlessly with the museum, serving as an open-air museum that extends the story from the indoor exhibits. Divided into three zones: tragic memories of the victims and the devastating earthquake , a transitional period of learning and adapting, and a yearning for hope. A connecting bridge between the park and museum allows a fluid exploration, as well as preserved buildings that are part of the rebirth from memory concept.
The design prioritizes sustainability and symbolism, incorporating earthquake debris into the building's façade and furniture. The rock net method, which incorporates rubble into architecture, demonstrate creativity in the face of challenges. Structural elements like slanted steel columns, concrete walls, and shock-absorbing dampers ensure earthquake resilience while also contributing to the project's renewal theme.
Umut Museum and Park serves as an icon of remembrance and hope, encouraging people to reflect on past tragedies and envision a sa Group Work Kahramanmara

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Agora Mall, located in the heart of Madinat Zayed, Abu Dhabi, aims to redefine the traditional shopping experience by focusing on sociability, accessibility, culture, and harmony. The mall is designed to blend in with the surrounding residential and park developments, with inviting spaces like steps that foster genuine connections and a sense of community. The mall's design creates a dynamic transition between the structured, urban side near the office buildings and the more fluid, organic side next to the park. Agora Mall, with its attractive entrance, welcomes visitors to a one of a kind experience that combines nature, culture, and modern social spaces. The metamorphic design embodies the vision of connecting communities while embracing modernity and tradition.

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
Step 1. Site and functions
The site's initial mass was designed whilst prioritizing the functions the building aims to provide
Step 2. Building volume
The mass is adjusted through a cascading height reduction to maximize the park's views and to ensure the privacy of the neighboring proposed residential buildings.
Step 3. Transitional mass
To reflect the fluidity of the park and surrounding nature, the form transitions from a rigid shape into an organic fluid shape as it gets closer to the ground and the park.
Step 4. Organic harmony
To visually and physically connect the park to the mall, the design transforms to an organic form towards nature, blending into it and becoming one with nature.
Step 5. Rigidity and fluidity
The metamorphic design is a blend of rigidity and fluidity, allowing visitors to experience nature flowing into a rigid conventional building.
Step 6. Social vibrancy
The entrance is emphasized, drawing the consumers inside the mall. Social spaces are abundant, embodying the true essence of a community.
