Pre-meeting: 4th March (Lilongwe) Conference: 5th- 8th March (Lilongwe) You are required to be physically in Malawi for pre-meeting and also available to work virtually on sessions 10 days before the beginning of pre-meeting.

The delegate fee is covered for all facilitators. Pre / post accommodation is provided. Travel costs are not covered. The delivery team consists of 2MC members, a chair and 2-3 additional facilitators.


Malawi is located in Southern Africa, next to Mozambique, Tanzania and Zambia. The population is 16.36 million and 70% of them are representing youth. Malawi is divided into three regions; Northern region Central region and Southern Region. Malawi has been divided into 32 districts. The largest and capital city of Malawi is Lilongwe which is in the central region, Blantyre is the second largest city and also a commercial city which is located in the southern region. The Official languages of Malawi are English and Chichewa.

School Information The university population in Malawi is approximately 25000. They are 17 universities in Malawi in which one is a public university with 5campuses.

Zomba There is an one of the biggest campus of University of Malawi called Chancellor College in Zomba.

Lilongwe Lilongwe (named after Lilongwe river) is the capital and largest city of Malawi, which is called the political capital. Our MC/intern house in also Lilongwe. There are some potential universities for LC and OGX.

Blantyre Blantyre is Malawi’s center of finance and commerce, the second largest city. We have LC Polytechnic under Polytechnic university, which is the first LC in Malawi.
