DREAM SPACE DESIGN

“This design reflects my free soul. A soul that is creative. A soul that loves to sing, dance, and draw. A soul that is living without any constraints. A soul that is not stressed and who is excited for each and every new idea. This dream house represents the real me. Who wants to walk through a maze and dance and sing without any one seeing her. This is my place, where I can meet with my original self before being filled with huge amount of fear and anxiety about what will happen next.”

“The place I designed focused on different moods didn’t focus on walls I added layers that if it’s done in reality I’ll add some glass to fill the empty parts with an outdoor area in the back.I feel that this design gives me my personality and have a connection with the outer world at the same time.”

“...I am at my own palace surrounded by a fence with nature all around and all what I do inside is just relaxing and having the best time of my life. I can also imagine myself having a private pool inside my palace which is the sqaure part and that I am watching an opera music background while chilling in the pool. The story behind it is that in this phase , I feel soo stressed and confused so I wanted to create a space that I would feel relaxed in and have no worries to think of , a place that would make me feel warmth and will fulfill all my moods.”

..when I started imagining the “my space” I tried to express in the model three things...the enclosed part which is the first part the more opened part and the total opened area so maybe this expresses three modes that almost everybody feel so that’s the model”

“ I felt like I needed an open space to live in , a space where it makes me feel comfortable and around nature. A place where it’s only me around green grass and the wind breeze. Whenever I feel like I am down, it’s an area where I can recharge my energy in . Decided to add a roof which is the white part to sit on and look at the sky and watch the stars and give myself moments to think. I often feel like I need to have a space of my own which can help me heel anytime when things go wrong so it will all be exposed to represent freedom and relaxation due to the fresh air and light coming in.”

“The design reflects how I suffer from always having mixed thoughts and emotions. I inclined my rods to indicate how indecisive I am. The complex roads of entry in my dream house give me the opportunity to go in any direction. I don’t have only one choice to make but many. I don’t have only one solution to take but many. I don’t like being restricted to only one route or only one choice. That’s why I chose a space with many points of entry. In this space I want to stop overthinking. I want to be free with no intrusions. I want this space to have many spaces where light can enter that is why my space has many openings. I want a space that has a height roof to make me feel open. However when I am sad or want to sit alone, I will go to the part of my space with a low ceiling. In order to feel enclosed and protected.”

“This design is my dream place where I like to have my own personal privacy. I chose this design as I like to have my space to be opened and at the same time enclosed but not too closed to be suffocating . Moreover, having the places containing opening to allow natural sunlight to penetrate is what I prefer to have as it makes me feel peaceful and content and allows me to have the ability to do what I love like reading in peace and be calm” when i heard the music i got calmer. i imagined a castle, birds and a garden. The garden reminded me of swings because i love them so without a doubt a had to include it in my design. I like spaces where i can rest my back against the wall so there was plenty of that in the design.The birds rwminded me of my favorite plushy so when u look at the dream house from above you can see everything connecting together to make a bird structure more like a duck or swan.

It reflects a person standing beside a bench between tall, large walls. I chose this because when i heard the music when i closed my eyes, i imagined sitting in front of the sea where i can see nobody around me that’s why there are large walls except from the front to be able to see the sea alone. Music made me clear my mind and see a picture infront of me or like made me feel as if i’m in a real place.

This form is all made of all of glass . I imagined the buliding is on a top of mountain with a view of a lake and alot of greenery I guess it will be a tranquil area with alot of birds with alot of flowers. I hope my family will be with me as i saw one I listened to the music . The form has a one common place which is linking the form and the other purpose of it to sit all together

“I believe that it reflects my thoughts because as we can see it is kind of complicated and not understandable as i currently feel lik e deep thoughts are conquering my mind however, a part of me was imagining disney land because it is full of m agical and unrealistic things just like my design. I wasn’t really thinking when i was doing it so there is no particular thing that was giving me this inspiration.”

“ I mainly like shapes so usually embed basic shapes to my designs whether it be triangles, rectangles, squares or even circles. In this dream space i mainly used rectangles. My shape has both an indoor and a semi outdoor area. The indoor area is completely closed off but it has a tiny balcony (you need a ladder to get up there)where you can sit and dangle your legs.The semi outdoor area is open from two sides and closed from the rest i made it that way because i hate sunlight.”

“...I made an upside down heart to reflect the beauty even in sadness, i then proceed to make a circular shape with a big hole in the middle to make walls and the roof that would let some sunshine in so that even when i’m isolated i can have the sunshine cheer me up”
