Juliet, of the Capulet Family Whether you love her or hate her, the breathtakingly beautiful daughter of one of the wealthiest families here in Verona, Juliet of the Capulet family and her infamous, complicated controversy, is nearly impossible to ignore. For those who haven’t heard, Juliet, a Capulet, and Romeo, a Montague, are *allegedly* deeply and madly in love and have *allegedly* planned to be married, tomorrow. A Capulet and a Montague? Together?! Is it true? Today, we’ll be talking to the lucky girl who Romeo is head over heels for. How do you feel about the controversy that some may even call a “war”, going on between your family, the Capulets, and your lover’s family, the Montagues? *sigh* This whole situation is a mess. I mean, does anyone even remember how this feud started? My parents would kill me for saying this, but personally, I think both sides are at fault! If everyone just stopped fighting and agreed to a truce, there wouldn’t be a problem. Romeo, the son of the Montague family, would even agree with me! That is a tough situation to be in, but speaking of Romeo, is it true that you two are together? Yes, I’m happy to say that it is true that we are together. I don’t usually believe in “love at first sight”, but when I first laid my eyes on Romeo and he spoke to me in the poetic way he does, it seemed as though I knew him from another life. We just… clicked! He’s such an open and affectionate person. Sometimes I feel like we were just meant to find each other, you know? Our love grows stronger and stronger each second. That is so sweet. You don’t find love like that too often. What made you decide to want to marry Romeo so quickly? Most people would think that you two are moving too fast, at least for your age. Not at all! Romeo is such a compassionate and caring lover. In fact, anyone would fall in love with him if they had met him. I just feel so lucky and grateful that we had found each other. Even after such short amount of time knowing him, I already know that I want to spend my entire life with him, and we both just can’t wait to make it official. Why wait? This kind of love only comes once in a lifetime. You two are so lucky to have each other, but because of the obvious reason that both of your families are sworn enemies, aren’t you afraid of what you’re family might think or do? As much as I love Romeo, let me say, this whole situation is quite stressful. With him being a Montague and my parents wanting me to marry Paris and all, it’s hard to say what they would think about this, but they’ll have to come around sometime. We are in love and that is not going to change. Who knows, maybe this marriage could even end the feud of both of our families!
Is there anyone you can look to or talk to other than Romeo when times are tough like this? I’m not exactly close with my parents, I don’t have any siblings and I don’t have too much freedom to branch out and meet new friends. One person I can talk to about anything is my nanny. She has raised me and has been my best friend for as long as I can remember. She is always there and is always so understanding. I love her very much and I am so grateful for all that she has done for me. I’m glad you have such an amazing person like that in your life! I want to wish you best luck on your marriage tomorrow! You and Romeo are such brave and inspirational people. Do you have any advice for couples like you two? I would say that you should stand up for who you love no matter the circumstance. Don’t let others control your life decisions, especially if it’s your family! They should be supporting your every decision. There you have it. The true love story of two star crossed lovers. How will the two families react when they hear that their dear Juliet is to be married with one of their sworn enemies? Find out tomorrow!
