Architecture is about composition of lines and curves that gives life to the canvas and creates a story of its own even after serving its functional purpose. In death , in life and in future architecture extists both for people and without people representing time and context.

I_0.1 The light gallery

Critic : Ar. Hari Krishna Ar. Girish

The brief conveyed a clients passion to collect natural light in an enclosed space using the three basic elements of space making - plint | wall | roof Given dimension for designing the space was 20m*10m*10m or a double of the given set area. Hence making it necessary to understand that architecture requires light for its existance. Location : Abstract (brief) Sahara (chosen) Area : 400 sq. mtrs

The site given was a terrain land in the center of the city hyderabad. the brief was also focusing on the usage of terrain and creating an experiencial space that collates modern art. the requirement of the brief was general - which required a library , a temporary exhibition area and a modern art galley. apart from which later functions where added Location : opposite Kbr Park Hyderabad,India Area : 1200 sq. mtrs

I_0.3 Restaurant On the Wall Critic : Prof. Ar. Renu Ar. Nagraj

The brief has asked to connect the upper and lower tank bund with enhancing the potential value of the place. hence in response to it - the idea of the connection to the lowerlevel is reinterpreted as a restaurant. A restaurant which caters to two different types of people. people who want to eat breakfast at a tiffin center and people who would like to enjoy a fine dining space with the view of the hussain sagar and city. Location : Lowertank Bund Wall Hyderabad,India Area : 500 sq. mtrs

C_0.1 ANDC - parallel projection

curator: : National Archiecture Students Association 2016

The brief asked the students to reflect the city in a parallel projection. Parallel projection of ideas, of drawings, or of graphics, either one of the many aspects of it or just a single aspect. thus the representation of this led us to refelct the pavillion which reflected the Urban decayed areas of our city. which are as much a part of it as the living are. Location : Generic Park in a Generic city Area : 100 sq. mtrs team mates: Ayaz pasha Mounica Polsani Vishweshwar singh Sannidhanam Prabha Amrutha Naidu

Generic Plan

The Generic City Contemporary cities, when viewed together provide us an unusual perspective; a point of view where their origins however apart, their present construct is still very similar, the context however different still contains people in a similar chaos. These cities acting as huge containers of spaces reflect this organized chaos in terms of their built and architectural form. There are spaces in these cities, rooted in such

a.

Various types of shafts

b.

closely related intentions, that when these spaces are represented, they connect to all. The pavilion is defined by a frame work formed of skeletal grid lattice pattern with a fluid green patch going through it. To represent our reinterpretation of incomplete spaces , being able to contain functions ,spatial demarcations formed by slabs and walls are introduced .the spaces – referred to as shafts represent both the incomplete nature of the space going through urban decay and also

c.

d.

the idea that space can function by completing them in whatever form required . This shaft varying in its heights, forms and thicknesses define the relation between the pure skeletal and the imposed order. It translates the idea structurally where the possibilities of imposing or demarcating a space through shafts have been explored by understanding the logics of how a shaft could be supported into multiple mannerisms through just the architectural elements of the existing decayed lattice mass and then examining its reaction to the space, so as to understand potential to cater functions.

C_0.2 The Boundaries Curator : IDC

the Breif asked us to reinvent the boundaries of a city. and in that short a line we reinvented the boundary of a national park. with just a bench. that could accomdate both park vistors and pedestrians

Location : Edge ofKbr Park Hyderabad,India Landscape element team mates: Ayaz pasha Mounica Polsani Vishweshwar singh

C_0.3 School without classrooms Curator : Archasm

The Brief wanted to the applicants to design a school without classrooms. that was not rigid and could formulate into multiple self. where the children could learn and play in an interactive environment and hence we proposed an idea of curtain wall and plinth base. minimum intervention.

Location : Templhoff airport Berlin,Germany

As the world plummets in to a refugee crisis, the site – Templehof field plays out to be a unique context for a school. Schools are amalgamations of disciplined and fluid zones which generate nurturing environments. In order to build a school, in dynamic relationship with the constructed ‘environment’, the bare minimums required for a school have been provided in the form of plinth, roof, membrane and landscape. The school has been visualized as a single entity, with the ability to transform into pockets of learning. These ‘group teaching clusters’ exist only when the membranes are drawn; and are otherwise merged on to the plinth. The plinth acts as a uniting force for the students, allowing them to see beyond notions like age and grade, whereas the translucent membrane extends a sense of enclosure that these pockets need to command. . The school is not limited to the built and extendens on the greens, providing children the opportunity to experience space as the un-built. The greens flush off with the rest of the surroundings, contaning a refugee camp with a bench at the skin of the site. This bench makes the school an approachable and inviting space for refugees who otherwise find themselves in constraints. The school doubles up as a community centre at night for refuges to get together beyond the camp.

30-01-2018 Hyderabad To Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts To Whomsoever It May Concern Letter of Recommendation I am writing this letter to my student Ayaz Pasha for the 16th International Architecture Exhibition, La Biennale Di Venezia, Pavilion Of Turkey. I have been associated with him in the position of design mentor from last 4 years. He is one of the most passionate students that I have guided. Elegant and simple, his thought process, design iterations & decision making have transcended over time. Self-critical in work, he developed his understanding of built environment capacity with clarity. Consistent, exuberant & cheerfulness are the trait that sets him apart from rest. To conclude, I would like to restate my strong recommendation for Ayaz. If you have any further questions regarding his ability or this recommendation, please do not hesitate to contact me using the information on this letterhead. Sincerely, Pingali Naga Praveen Architect-CA/2009/43959 Assistant Professor- SVCA,Hyderabad/2009-2015 Associate Professor - ADI,Uppal,Hyderabad /From Aug 2015
