The main aim of theproject is trytoimplementAgenda 21's ideasandphilosophy indifferentschools. TheUN'sproposal is schoolstopromoteand put intoeffectthisidea.Becausechildrenandeducationarethemostimportantelements of changingtheworld.Wewillparticipate in thismovementandmobility in the 21 localschoolswhichwasimplemented in somepart of theworld.Agenda 21 is an idea thatariseswiththe slogan 'Thinkglobally, actlocally.' in the 1990s bythe United Nations.This idea is aimedtoprotecttheenvironmentandsustainabledevelopment of ourschools,regionandmunicipalities.Eachinstitutionshouldhave a smalldiameterAgenda 21 toprotecttheenvironment.TheEuropeanUnionsigned an agreement in March 2013 thatindicatedthedesiretoenlargethis idea andphilosophy of consciousness.Ourmissionandourgoal is tocreateawarenessforourschoolbyimplementingAgenda 21 of the final document, bothlocaland at schoollevel.Thisdocumentwillserve as an exampleforotherschoolsandwill be a turningpointforawarenessandwillalsoincludeactiveparticipants in theschoolandcommunity. Thisdocumentwill be included as an officialdocument of ourschoolsand it will be integratedintotheguidelinesandrulesandotherexistingnormative.Allstrategicpartners' of thememberswillparticipate in nationalecounitythatmany of themhavealreadyparticipated.Wewillcarryoutdifferentactivitiesandpracticalissuesassociatedwiththeit emorthework of eco-schools.Forexample, waste, trash , water, energy, biodiversity, transport, schools, environment, healthandwell-being of ourworldandmore...Each partner willhandletasksrelatedtotheseenvironmentalissues.Wearefocused on thefirst 5 issuestoproducepracticalactivities, andalsoourworkcoversthe main environmentalactiondirectly.Wewilltrytosolvespecificenvironmentalproblems in everysocietyandstudentswilltakepartactively at thisstage,theywilloffersuggestionsandideastothecouncil.Andtheywillalsoparticipate in themeetingswithlocalofficials.Allactionswill be held in cooperationwithlocalandcompetentacademicandwillincludeallmembers of ourschool.Students, parents, staff, administration, securityguard...Wewillprovide online platform applicationssuch as PHP tools,blog,eTwinningtowork,shareinformationandtoproducedocumentsandprintouts.Wewillcreateourownecoaudit.Weuseeco-schoolsorotherorganizations, includinglocalorAgenda 21 schools. Therewill be twoshort-termtrainingcourseabouteco-schoolsand PHP implementation.Becausethesearetwo main elements of ourproject.Therewill be a lot of activitymeetings in everycountry,this is veryimportantforthepromotionandthedesiredeffect of thisproject.Thisprojectwillcombineenvironmentalmanagement,philosophychangewiththecurriculum of ourschool in a continuousmanner.Wewilltryto be an exampleforotherschools in thedistrictandtheregion.Wehavereceivedthesupport of themunicipalandregionalauthorities.Thatofficialsarewaitingfortherequestto be a leadingcenter of ourschoolapplication of Agenda 21 schools.

Anamur VakÄąfbank AtatĂźrk Secondary School At the beginning of the project, we negotiated with Anamur municipality. Recycling bins were placed in the school garden and corridors. c

Studies of saving electricity were carried out and some warrning signs were hung on the walls. We also focused on issues of protecting wild life.

Our students of fourth level have in the curriculum of Ethics a especific unit related with environment and the awareness about it. As a way to involve the students in the project they were ask to make videos about the program AGENDA 21 and about the implications of this idea and program in the schools. Here we have some of the examples of the videos. The students belong to Fourth Level. 1415 years old.

In our this ’s a decoration contest in our school every Chritsmas. From this year it changed to be more ecological and only recycling material can be used to decorate the classrooms.

Our students made their technology projects using recycling materials.

We tried to improve the appearance of our school. This was one of the four subjects of our project. So the students, with the help of teachers, designed and painted the doors of some of our classrooms. The environmental aspect and our new story as ECO –SCHOOL is also represented. This was an activity carried out by the Arts Department with students of different levels.

The students took photos of environmental problems in our town and took pictures about them. They were building new design to advice the city council of how to change and improve the distribution of recycled and waste bins in our municipality.

Our students of fourth level panted cactus to decorate the calsrooms. This task involves a simple food containers that are thrown away as soon as they are empty. Every soil can be used. The cactus are remarkable in appearance but they also exhibit the most evolution that the plants have ever evolved.

Our students of fourth level o Ethics elaborated videos about what an ECO SCHOOL is and explaining the different steps to be followed. They asked to peopleo in the town their opinions about ECO SCHOOLS and about our project. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oelNUyF0FgA&feature=youtu.be The purpose of this proyect is to know and realise that more paper that we need. In the subject Spanish language this activity was perfect to link in the curriculum language and enviroment. The students have to make a diary with recycled materials. After that they have to write in it feelings, stories and to express your feelings about your sensations and your daily life.

The students of third level of technology design green houseses with recycled materials. These were a new cross curriculum activity. All the projects were done with recycled materials.

We have prepared boxed for our classrooms to be filled with waste sheets to be reused by the students. This activity was made by the special needs students. They recycled boxes and decorated and labeled them. We are very proud of their work.

LITHUANIA On 12-13 of September fourteen students and five teachers went to the traditional hike on foot. Students were inthe Kurtuvėnai Regional Park. On the first day they went from Bubių to Bijotė lake, where we spent the night. The second day they started with an unusually social activities. The students picked up litter by the Bijotė shores. After that they were awarded by the prize – went to the Kurtuvėnai ranch and ride.

At our school was organized the exhibition “Recycled materials – are not a rubbish.

On October 1,on the second floor was opened photo exhibition “Nature – on my eyes.” Five of the students (Laimis Šulinskas, Remigijus Rimkus, Santa Stasiulaitytė, Bridget Osincevaitė, Ginta Sankalaitė).

Students participated in the competition “Let`s paint by computer „A Winter Fantasy”. The target is to preserve the environment.

In 2015-12-04 Christmas E-Card – Let`s protect the environment and do not use any paper.

In 2015-12-08 we participated in the project “Let`s meet after the commercials “. (Students made a civil ideas calendars, presentations, fir tree decoration from recycled materials).

Gabrielle Rekštytė on 9 b grade has participated in the project “We are recycled „.Did ecological crossword puzzles and won the ball with the Lithuanian basketball team`s signatures.

AN ACTION “CAR FREE DAY”. The school bicycle stands are established (12 seats).

LEAF RAKING ACTION Each autumn have been organized working holidays “Leaf raking action”. The target is to improve our school`s environment.
