liquidfish Liquidfish is a complete service creative agency. They provide a variety of digital and printed products to help clients communicate effectively to their market and streamline their work flow through our design and applications. Although there are quite a few print collateral projects, liquidfish is a heavily web based studio. How it works is that they have two designers and who fully design the websites from start to finish. After the design has been completed, it gets handed over to the developers. There are about six developers currently working at liquidfish. Once the website has been fully developed and all of the revisions have been approved by the client, it is ready to go live. All of the revisions go through the project manager and are sent over to the designer. The designer does not necessarily communicate with the client directly. Most of the communication is done in the initial client meeting, and after that it is done through the project manager. The process for a new client and project starts off with the initial client meeting, which consists of the creative director, company president and the project manager with the client. After the first meeting, it is then assigned to one of the designers by the project manager. After there’s a presentable solution for the client to see, it is then open for any revisions. After the revisions and any additions have been completed, the project is done and ready for the client.

I Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Liquid fish is an awesome creative agency producing amazing work. I am truly blessed that I was able to have an opportunity to work with such a brilliant group of people. I was not expecting to learn as much I have learned at liquidfish. Before starting the internship, I was extremely nervous and did not know how I would be able to fit in a new environment. But of course, my experience at liquidfish has exceeded all of my expectations and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I was able to learn so much and was encouraged to ask any questions I have. Anytime I had questions, Jennifer and Alicia were genuinely cooperative and shared tips and had very constructive feedback. I had absolutely no web experience what so ever but they were very inviting and open for me to learn. I am very thankful that they trusted me to learn and jump in to something new. Now, I am walking out with a completely designed website for my portfolio and everything else I have learned in my time at liquidfish. Above everything, everyone was extremely respectful and welcoming during my time there. I consider myself very lucky to have met amazing people and learn good design.
