About my first year experience First of all, I would like to state that I have switched to this section from a different department and that I have no regrets about the transition I have made as a result of my experience this year. The intimacy of design with life and learning from my surroundings at any moment is very valuable for me. In addition, this training, which I experienced this year, provided a collective working environment that appeals to me. The environment in which the project lessons take place has a beauty that especially appeals to the design departments and makes me not want to go out of the Taşkışla. I think that the perspective they have gained freed the approach to design issues much more and broke some patterns. I would like to thank my valuable and devoted teachers, Taşkışla environment and my dear friends for such a nice first class project experience.

BONDS IN ORANGE
The aim of the project is to design and perfom bonds design in groups of 3 people, provide that the individuals are connected to each other from anywhere and while modelling bonds we are not allowed to used glue which this guide us to design joint details or some details was just all the design. The wrist and ankle units in this performance are made of corrugoted cardboard and connections between them are made by passing the pippetts into each other. The wrist / ankle bonds can be adjusted according to size of ankle/wrist. Hammer and ball details had done with same still cardboard + pippets; finally the chains made of using pipes which are connected to each other. The reason why we used these material is first of all carboard was the compulsary and the other elements was chosen by use. So, Why pippetts? Becauze, pippetts are avaibale to make connettions accorging to grooves on it they can easly shaped and we able to make 3D shapes by intertwining them because they space inside.

EXPLODE
In this project the concept was desining a parkour with packaging wastes by selecting among some comends such as explode, loop, pixalize... The commend that I preferred to chose is loop. I have interpreted this as no finishing line so, decided to design a parkour which leads one to starting point. I used many different surface, carrier members for it. For instance, to stabileze the top pf the bottom, I preferred to use rope and stabilezed iz by straining, another example is I preferred to use niche as a surface member and to stabilize it, preferred to use sticks. To connects some elements in this parkour preferred to use pipe, film surface some botlle pieces too.

In this project, we had the opportunity to discuss the concept of border as a group, and we collected various images about the border concept, photos and videos from our environment. We selected one of these borders that we examined and hacked it by making various additions. In this process, we did model and layer studies within 3 borders of my choice. At the border that I chose and hacked among these 3 borders, I added my own fiction, and directed it to a place where the public could exhibit what they wanted. I continued it all along the border. In this process, I have created a design by adding new ones to the existing functions and movements by making some additions to it by not disrupting the character of the border I have chosen.

IMÇ Rhythm Mapping
In this project, the aim was designing a food unit in Istanbul Manifaturacilar Bazaar (IMC). First of all we did mind maps to find a design goal individually. Secondly, with our teacher’s references we had a chance attend a panel in our school. While design process, everyone in our studio group went to IMC together and did several mappings with groups and these helped us to know IMC better. Also to find a area for our design everyone investigated IMC individually too. As a part of this design proses I made several mind maps, investigated IMC and found my design goal which is showing meal process steps to people and make them come to my design in IMC the beginnig of my design idea was designing mobile + stable units. Mobile unit was touring the crowded areas near to IMC and suppose make people to visit the stable food unit in 2. block of IMC. But then I reduced the mobile unit based on the ideas I got from the teachers. I focused on the stable unit, and tried to increase the relations of the unit with the area where I am located in IMÇ.For increasing my relations I did a lot of material research for the exterior. For the volume of my stad was based on the movements of the chosen food which is Turkish homemade noodles. Finally, for the my purpose, exhibiting cooking process I prefered transparent materials in some exterior parts.
Investigation Of IMÇ And Its Surroundings + Initial Design Trials
At the beginning I was thinking about a mobile unit and stable design ideas together but then; I made my decision to make a only stable design. IMÇ investigations

First of all, ‘Turkish made noodles’ is the home noodle that I think of as a version of the spaghetti dish that I used in my previous cooking video, adapted to the immaculate venue. By creating this design, the whole space was created by examining all the stages of the handmade noodles in detail and by numbering the actions, as can be seen in the axonometric storyboard on the left side, based on the order of the interior space and the actions. The purpose of the design is to show the stages of making the noodles and increase the human density in the Manifaturacılar Bazaar. Thanks to this purpose, the design has been closely linked to the exterior material and color with the mosaic artwork at the entrance of the 2nd block. In addition, it was aimed to strengthen the relationship with the IMÇ by shaking the benches from the parapets in the immigrant. In its interior design, completely hand-made Turkish noodle-specific mechanisms and stalls are used and customized. And it is aimed to carry out all actions in a minimum area.

P E R I O D This project was short-term and aimed to experience the behavior of light in different structures (glossy, matte, translucent, transparent, opaque ...) and to design models related to those words by using materials of different types at our disposal with a selected set of words. As a result, a path was traveled to internalize the material and light shadow relationships.
The Story Of Fly
Wow ! Look at this sparkles the sun must be near here
Yes!! I found the entrance . Here we go Bzzzzz...
Now I am getting closer and started to feel warmer....
Wow! cavity
There is inside, I
a huge couldn’t
There must be way in. I must discover it by flying.
Bzzzz, Where is it? How I am going to find it?
Oh, I see cavities here . Maybe I can get in from these cavites.
Hmm..This is not the sun, seems like a sparkling bud.
It is time to go now. Bzzzzz.....
I hope some day I will find the sun...

BETWEEN TWO LEVELS THE RHYTHM
THE RHYTHM
The ‘Rhythm’ project is located in one of the slices given to us by dividing the retaining wall into 16 regions in Kabataş, and the aim is to design a structure between two levels and to reach people to the upper quota by spending time in this column. Within the ‘Rhythm’ project, people can perform various actions between two levels, such as reading books, sitting, climbing the steps, watching the scenery. The structure is formed with massive wooden and steel rope tensioners.

You can see the Pao reviews of Toyo Ito, which is included in my design process with its furniture. The purpose of basing these furniture is to minimize the individual requirements in the pandemic process and to be mobile furniture. In addition, these furniture designed by Toyo Ito based on the urban nomadic lifestyle have personally responded to the need for social distance in today’s covid scenario.

Antonio Sant’Elia Citta Nuova and Futurizm Our topic in the project course, which continued in online courses in the corona process, was ‘Future of Living’. However, a collective work was carried out within the scope of ‘Post-Pandemic’ life scenarios, which are directed by our teachers Cigdem Eren and Buse Özçelik, and our concept focuses on today’s topic ‘Covid-19’ and has future orientations through corona.
The centriral mechanization seen in the futurism movement and also the versatile circulation that we examined in Citta nuova was also a pioneer in positioning my pompidou center pneumatic system in the Harem topography.
Pneumatic clothing layer sterilization in the post-pandemic life setting and whose idea I developed; In the topography selected in the harem, it is positioned in 4 underground centers. If desired, pneumatic pipes reaching the spaces, capsules providing sterilization with UVC LEDs inside these pipes. The capsules contain a transparent layer of clothing that is produced in one size and can be worn on people’s own clothing in case of going out. this layer is distributed to the places sterilized in capsules. Pneumatic pipes are 13.5 cm in diameter, capsules are 50 cm in diameter and 12.5 cm in diameter.

In this process, we will have individual designs as well as being asked to connect with at least 2 of these other group friends. These connections are very diverse in a spatial dimension. During this process, I worked ‘Cocoon Life’ is a design related to its environment, which is included in the Harem’s landscape, located in 3 places in the selected Harem topography, which minimizes the boundary between the interior and exterior created within the scenario after covid-19 and aims to be self-sufficient. Considering how I try to minimize the boundary between the interior and the exterior, the tree surrounding design, the relationships of the bellows with the floors are the answers of this reason. By including the tree in the design, I have included an outside landscape element in the interior. It is also an idea I have developed for this purpose that the bellows can be opened completely at the request of actors was related to minimizing the border of inside and outside too.

09.00 Descendes to the garden flor. While going down she saw her homemate and they decide to go for a jog together, and she starts to water the flowers on the garden.
09.45 When she stop watering, she see her housemate is ready and waiting for her. She reaches to the ramp quickly. They tour the ramp by running. After the run...
11.00 She comes to ground floor. Take off her cloth layer.
Opens the cover of pneumatic pipe.
Places the cloth layer in the capsule
11.10- 00.00 At other times of the day, Jane goes to the upper quota, takes a shower, eats, reads a book, dances at the dance studio, and at the end of the day she goes back to bed.
Hexagonal bellows moving in their slots, consisting of aerogel and metal joints. Now I would like to give detailed informantion about aerogel. That I used for bellows. Aerogel is a synthetic porous ultralight material derived from a gel, in which the liquid component for the gel has been replaced with a gas.The result is a solid with extremely low density and extremely low thermal conductivity. Nicknames include frozen smoke, solid smoke, solid air, solid cloud, blue smoke owing to its translucent nature and the way light scatters in the material. Silica aerogels feel like fragile expanded polystyrene to the touch, while some polymer-based aerogels feel like rigid foams. Aerogels can be made from a variety of chemical compounds. Aerogel is a material that is 99.8% air. Aerogels have a porous solid network that contains air pockets, with the air pockets taking up the majority of space within the material. The dearth of solid material allows aerogel to be almost weightless. Although they are fragile there are also can be flexiable.

SHAPING THE FUTURE BRYOPHYTE
BRYOPHYTE
Algae are found in different colors in nature. Red, green and blue algae can be used in air filter units since they can photosynthesize.
Why Acrylic? -Acrylic is a UV resistant material. Thanks to this feature, these units are suitable for outdoor use. -Transparent acrylic is used in this design because it is aimed to reveal the color diversity of algae and give people a different experience. -The light needed for the algae to perform photosynthesis can be easily reached with acrylic. -The pore required for algae to breathe can be opened on acrylic plates. -The valve system required for any intervention can also be easily provided with acrylic.
Eutrophication can be observed due to excessive algae density. For this reason, liquid transfer processes are carried out to reduce algae concentration at certain intervals. relationship of acrylic plaques with algae
Cover detail required for fluid intervention
Porous structure detail required for algae to breathe
Most algae are photosynthetic microorganisms. Algae consume CO2 in the environment by making photosynthesis and emit O2. With this feature of algae, a biophilic air filter unit is designed to reduce the average amount of CO2 in the environments where this unit is located. These units create an environment effect consisting of trees, especially in areas where reinforced concrete and human density are high. However, since an organic solution is used instead of a mechanical design in the existing air filter systems, a great amount of energy is saved.
