Concept formation INTERLOCKING

MAIN ORIGIN OF DESIGN The circle is a centralized, introverted figure that is normally stable and self-centering in its environment. Placing a circle in the center of a field reinforces its inherent centrality. Associating it with straight or angular forms or placing an element along its circumference.

Stage - 1

Stage - 3

Stage - 2

Stage - 4

Circular pattern offers a memorable experience to general visitors and impacts a clean sequential character of the building.

STRATEGICALLY PLACEMENT OF BUILDING BLOCKS

Interlocking is a design concept in which simple elements are arranged in a way that an entire structure is held together by kinematic constraints inflicted through the form and through the mutual arrangement of the element.

▪ the spatial field overlap the volume of another spaces. ▪ When two spaces interlock each retains its identity and definition as a space. Pre-Final Stage

Final Stage

VEHICULAR AND PEDESTRIAN MOVEMENTS ▪ Segregation of vehicles and pedestrian is very important. Segregation helps prevent accident/collisi on between pedestrian and vehicle. ▪ It helps pedestrian move freely without any worry.

Vehicular circulation Pedestrian circulation

The building blocks are strategically placed according to their function and need.

NODE A POINT IN A NETWORK OR DIAGRAM AT WHICH LINES OR PATHWAYS INTERSECT OR BRANCH.

Concept formation NOISE LEVEL IN AND AROUND THE SITE High level of noise Low level of noise

COVERED VS OPEN SPACE AREA ▪ It is important to balance the site equally with covered and open green spaces. ▪ The observer feels suffocated/trapped in certain conditions in which he/she is surrounded by building and less of open spaces.

Covered area Green open area

MAIN AXIS OF THE SITE

▪ The red line depicts the main axis of site in which the whole circulation of pedestrian and vehicular is organized.

VISUAL BALANCE OF STRUCTURE In 3-d design physical balance is a structural necessity, while a degree of visual balance in an aesthetic necessity. Visual balance can be created through the absence as well as the presence of form.

WIND AND SUN MOVEMENT

Symmetrical design can communicate calm and stability. Radial balance tends to pull or push the viewer towards the center of the composition.
