MOST INFLUENTIAL WOMEN
Angela Hood
Vice
President Of Development
P.B. Bell
Background: Hood is responsible for managing all P.B. Bell development projects from entitlements through issuance of building permits. This includes due diligence, underwriting, design, budgets, city submittals and utility coordination.
Source of pride: “I am very proud of how hard I have worked to diversify my experience and background. I pride myself on having experience in most facets of real estate development, including accounting, land-banking and construction.”
Surprising fact: “I’m an adrenaline junky and love anything fast. I fell in love with my husband after riding on the back of a motorcycle while doing a wheelie. I have done aerobatics several times in a no-engine glider plane, sky-dived on multiple occasions and love rollercoasters — the faster the better.”
Michelle Rutkowski
Owner and design director
MOR Studio
Background: Rutkowski founded MOR Studio in 2016 to deliver exceptional service and design from concept to completion. Her 20 years of expertise spans various sectors, including religious, municipal, office, restaurant and family entertainment projects.
Inspiration: “Seeing the positive impact that good design can have on people’s lives and the built environment is exceedingly fulfilling. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to work in a field that allows me to pursue my passions and make a real difference in the world.”
Surprising fact: “I have a secret talent that I’m pretty decent at — sketching faces. If you catch me staring at you during a meeting, don’t worry. I’m not trying to hypnotize you or anything. I’m just trying to capture your good side.”

Andi St. John
Managing director of property management
CBRE Arizona
Background: St. John provides executive leadership over the region’s property management portfolio, which includes many high-profile assets.
Inspiration: “Fate brought me to property management through a temp agency I utilized after graduate school. I quickly found that I enjoyed the industry’s daily challenges and how my role could add value to tenants, clients, brokers and lenders. It seemed like a good fit because I enjoy helping others, solving puzzles and problems and teamwork.”
Surprising fact: “I’m a fan of horror movies — or thrillers — and roller coasters. When a friend is looking for a partner to watch a scary movie, I’m the one they call. I like the adrenaline rush from the suspenseful music and jump scares.”
Abelina Madrigal
Project coordinator
Butler Design Group
Background: Possessing over 19 years in the architectural industry, Madrigal has gained a wide range of knowledge including office, industrial, TI and retail. She has contributed to developments such as SkySong III, IV, V, and VI, medical office buildings, and large-scale industrial projects like DSG, REI, Ferrero Chocolate, Daimler, XPO, and others along the Loop 303 in Goodyear.
Inspiration: “The inspiration behind my career path in architecture did not start until I was in high school, when I was exposed to an architectural class at a technical high school. Walking through the classroom and seeing all the architectural models and blueprints sparked my interest in architecture that I did not even know I had.”
Source of pride: “I have been with Butler Design Group for 17 years, which is a great accomplishment on its own. But what brings me the most pride is being the only female in the associate position. I’ve had great mentors who have supported my growth and shaped the person I am today. I hope to be an inspiration to others, especially the women in our industry.”
Support system: “I would like to give credit to Jeff Cutberth, Korey Wilkes, Rick Butler, and Toby Rogers for their tremendous support, patience, and mentorship at Butler Design Group. Thank you for seeing my potential early on and investing your time in me.”
