INTERESTING FACT: Surprise Stadium is located 45 minutes from Sky Harbor International Airport via I-10 to the New Loop 303 Freeway and Bell Rd, right in the middle of the City of Surprise’s award winning Recreation Campus, featuring a Championship Tennis and Racquet Complex, aquatics center, parks, lakes, sports facilities and many other public amenities. Get to the stadium early and head over to In-n-Out Burger for a pre-game experience that is a Spring Training must. TASTY TREATS: Desert Snowie’s shaved ice and soft serve ice cream is a must have. ROYALS’ 2020 SEASON: Kansas City finished 26-34 in the abbreviated 2020 season, placing fourth in the American League Central. KC won 12 of its last 18 games, which tied with AL Champion Tampa Bay for the best record in the league from Sept. 8 to the end of the regular season.
