KTAR has proudly been the “Voice of Arizona” since 1922 with a commitment to excellence in content that keeps its listeners informed and entertained and enriches and uplifts the lives of those in the community. KTAR is Arizona’s News Station with the Edward R. Murrow Award-winning news, talk and digital teams producing more live and local content than any other media entity in the state. KTAR is also proud of its charitable contributions, most notably the largest children’s hospital radio fundraiser in America, the Give-A-Thon for Phoenix Children’s Hospital, which raised a record-breaking $1.91 million in 2020.
