Introduction Welcome to the new X-Nikon, subset of Nikon, brand guidelines in troduces the elements of Nikon’s new factory outlet store’s identity.

Use these guidelines when creating marketing materials that will be distributed at or after general availability of the new Office.

The goal is to distinguish all Nikon communications with the same consistency and instantly recognisable style. Building the brand to a greater success.

Let the logo breathe. Horizontal & Vertical Logo Treat our logo with respect and give it room to breathe. Use a minimum clear space surrounding the logos equivalent to the height of the “N�.

Minimum Size

Our logo must appear prominently and legibly on every piece of communication. Please apply the mininum size and clear space rule to help it stand out from the other graphic element.

The minimum recommended size of the logo for the vertical is 21 mm high for print and 58 px on-screen. This applies for both colour, one colour and black Masterbrand logos.

Minimum Size

Our logo must appear prominently and legibly on every piece of communication. Please apply the mininum size and clear space rule to help it stand out from the other graphic element.

The minimum recommended size of the logo for the horizontal is 10 mm high for print and 27 px onscreen. This applies for both colour, one colour and black Masterbrand logos.

Minimum Required Detail

X-Nikon logo has a unique element which is it’s halftone component. However in certain events where the reproduction of the logo causes some details to be lost, a minimun requirement is need for the acceptance of the logo with details being lost, making sure it is not beyong recognition.

It is important to maintain prominence of our logo to ensure legibillity at all times. Where full color reproduction is available always, applt the logo in full color.

Preferredly white in coloue 02 — Never place the Masterbrand logo on a visually complicated background. 03 — Never use Masterbrand logo white on light backgrounds. 04 — Never place full color version of Masterbrand logo on colour background other than white.

Primary Colours

The colours listed are authorized X-Nikon colours. Gold signifies sophistication, value and elegance, Black is used also as an representation for quality and protection, conveying a sense of trust and stability

Gold and Grey are the most preferred colour in the colour patte because they are very contrasting and they stand out more as compared to the other colours

The graphics

Graphic elements are mainly halftone patterns, due to the relation to the logo design. A simple use of the halftone dot effect as a secondary graphic yet at the same time being creative with the dots. It can only use in the main color palette.

Another graphic element is the use of photography and also trying out duotone, incorporating X-Nikon main color palette into the image.

Image on the bottom left is an example of usi ng halftone in an interesting way, The colours used here are just for demontration purposes. Not to be used in any touchpoints.

Textures

Organic Imagery as an texture, involves the use of photography images. The photos here are mainly very focused towards having the depth of field effect. It has to have a softness to it with the blur texture.

Organic Imagery Even if there is a subject in the image, the surroundings of the subject has to be blur, bringing the focus to the subject in a very sophisticated way. The image are also treated to have a warm tone, if not it could be also black & white.

Graphic

The texture here are created, inspired by the logo of X-Nikon. A very simple graphic texture that units all collaterals together. Patterns are to be taken note and not the colours. The colors used here are not allowed in any other touchpoints or communication medium.
