A-Z We are an independent, award-winning publishing company based in Argentina, dedicated to children’s books, textbooks and education in general. We strongly believe that our books have the highest standards of creativity coupled with emphasis on the excellence of text and illustrations.
Since we started, back in 1976, untill today, we keep growing and working with the same passion for innovation and love for books. Inside our catalogue you’ll find the right book for every age, from babies to young adults, both fiction and non-fiction.
Our new brand of children’s literature
Twenty-five years after the publication of our first children’s book, we carry on walking a path full of satisfactions, and we are proud to have the authors and illustrators that make up our catalogue. Today, we still work on this cathegory with a team of specialists dedicated to children’s literature, for readers and specific educators with distinctive needs and demands.
+ ENERGY DYNAMISM
AZ InternPublish2014.indd 3
+ INGENUITY PLAYFULNESS
CONSTRUCTION OF THE FUTURE
And to identify these books we present our new brand: an image whose concept communicates and enriches what we consider the essence of children’s books: to enhance imagination and encourage reading for pleasure.
Why is it a squirrel? Because squirrels convey the ideas of energy, dynamism, ingenuity, playfulness..., and also future: as they run and play, they make provision and spread seeds that become new trees.

We Can All Draw Author and illustrator: Istvansch An invitation to play the creative game of drawing. Because drawing is a game that we can all play. Look at your hand. Do you know that it has magical powers? Move it here, move it there, move it slowly and then fast. Did anything magical happen? Do you say no? Take a pencil and repeat the same exercise on a paper. You’ve just
drawn no less than your movements! That’s extraordinary, isn’t it? Do you say that everyone could do it? I say no, because that work you did on that paper is exclusively yours. But I say yes too, because we can all draw.

I Look at You, You Look at Me
I Have a Kitty Cat
Illustrator: María Paula Ratti
The attractive game with words of a tongue-twister is linked to the most ancient trends of the popular and oral poetry. The charm of this kitty cat gets even better with the author’s outstanding illustrations.
The look between two kids in love, who swing from looking at each to avoid being looked at, is the theme of this especially visual story. Thus, the looks turn into the language which relates this children love’s story.

On the roofs, some cats love dancing, buying brand clothes or jogging. The cat Daisy wants to participate in a fashion show, so she goes on a bad diet that damages her health. The situation is serious, but the cat Chip knows how to sort it out.
More and more strange cats are arriving at the roofs. Some cats refuse to welcome them because they fear that soon there won’t be enough space. Other cats, like Chip, accept them because they think that times change, and getting to know new cats and other cultures is a great thing.

Authors: Beatriz Doumerc and Gabriel Barnes Illustrator: Cristian Bernardini
Nina, the cat, was born with one leg shorter than the others, so she moves with difficulty. She would love to play and go to school as everyone else, but she finds it very hard to get around. The cats decide to help her and they consult Saw, a very handy cat who always has good ideas.
A new cat arrives at the roof. He is very evasive, but he stands out in the rescue of a little cat in trouble. The fact is that he comes from a war-ridden place, where he suffered hard times. His experience will make the other cats reflect and decide to be peaceful no matter what.

A-Z’s Great Readers Three stories, three different worlds…, but no that different. Can you imagine how a dog’s life is? What does he think about us humans? What happens in a cat community? To understand it’s necessary to become a cat for a moment. And how would you deal with a whimsical king and not surrender to his strange wishes? Without a doubt, it’s an experience that common people don’t usually live.

A dog’s life related by the dog itself is something unusual. But more strange is that the story becomes a mirror that reflects, with unbeatable clarity, our human lives.
Rain, the cat who narrates his own life, knows that the stories aren’t always real. Because every story and every life have something of truth and something of fantasy. In a mixture of these two ingredients, we discover this cat’s life.
An exotic and vain king, who travels to a city far away from his domains. There, he meets a family integrated by a mom, two kids and a dog. They share funny and absurd experiences that will transform them all.

Roma Children
Homeless Kids
Authors: Inés Tenewicki and Yanina Kinigsberg
Authors: Inés Tenewicki and Yanina Kinigsberg
Roma people are often discriminated, both on the street and at school or at work. Most of the people who mistreat them don’t know their customs, history and way of life. They have a rich culture though not very well-known. It is not easy to find roma children who want to tell their story and be photographed. All the kids in this book and their stories are real. Among the reasons why they accepted to be interviewed, there is one that stands out: if people know them, they will understand, respect and stop discriminating them.
This book contains testimonies of girls and boys who are or were out of their homes, so they learned "the street code". The reports were made in foster homes and in the street. The reaction of the interviewees are varied. Many children had fun with the idea of appearing in a book and they talked. Perhaps they didn’t tell the whole truth, so there may be some contradictions in their stories. Other kids were mistrustful of us; and others agreed, but then they regretted and didn’t share their experiences. ISBN: 978-950-534-547-2

The Other History. Native People Age 9+
Why “The Other History”? History is one and includes all humans, but it's not always entirely told. Regarding the texts about our American countries, they usually begin with the Spanish colonization, as if the colonists had come to an empty land. But it was populated. Since the sixteenth century, indigenous people have been exterminated, dominated or thrown out of their lands… and of books, too. That’s the other part of the history we want to talk about, so as to complete it. Focused on the anthropological –but in a litarary and friendly way–, these books include traditions, daily life, fights for survival and the fate of American Natives. They intend to share another point of view at the events that took DIGITAL BOOKS place before and after the European invasion. AVAILABLE

Author: José Hernández Illustrators: Néstor Taylor (cover) and Darío Salvi (inside) Pages: 192
Author: Federico García Lorca Illustrator: Lucas Orueta Pages: 96
Author: Homer Illustrator: Cristian Bernardini Pages: 96
This story takes place inside a house where family conflicts arise. Five single daughters are forced to repress their feelings, under the command of the mother –Bernarda–, who is obsessed with taking care of the appearances. The atmosphere is stifling, a shut world where the mourning and the obedience prevail over love. A review of society that transcends times.
These poems introduce us into the soul of the civilized humanity, in charge of organizing the Cosmos –ordered system, civilization– in opposition to Chaos – the terrifying, the unthinkable, terrible beings, which exceed our imagination, which are beyond our universe–. From this Chaos, the horrors come, reflected in these selected texts from Odyssey.
It’s one of the most important works of the Argentinian literature, a poem that tells, in first person and by way of folk ballad, the misfortunes of a gaucho recruited by the army to protect the borders: the discrimination, the abandonment and the persecution by the State. The author used the gaucho’s voice to establish the borders between two models of government. ISBN: 978-987-35-0182-1

An ancient farm in a rural area of the Unites States doesn’t seem the propitious site for mystery or horror. However, evil can appear in any place and in broad daylight. Houses, tradition, magic, beings foreign to our time and place, colors from other worlds are pieces of the dark forces' jigsaw that mustn’t be put together.
Who doesn’t know the story of the Beauty and the Beast, Clumsy Hans, Clever Else or The Town Musicians of Bremen? Who doesn’t remember The Shepherdess and the Sweep? Who doesn’t like the Brothers Grimm’s stories or Hans Christian Andersen’s tales? This anthology turns the traditional stories up a notch: it converts them into short plays to perform!
Mr. Lucas Rodríguez, man of high status, decides to marry, and he has no better idea than to choose Lucía, the daughter of a friend marriage, as a wife. However, the young girl doesn’t agree. And her secret boyfriend Carlos certainly hates it. Both put a plan into action to bring the suitor into discredit. It’s neither for being old, nor for being bad or dishonest: it's for being jinx!
