Residents can drop off brush, furniture, bulky items, appliances, metal for recycling and small amounts of construction materials from do-it-yourself projects. We ask that you pre-sort as much as possible; this will help keep traffic moving and allow staff to work as efficiently as possible. This is a free event for Azle residents and proof of Azle residency will be required by presenting your utility bill and driver’s license.

CITY OF AZLE FINANCIAL REPORTS
The City of Azle publishes two financial reports each year. For those of you looking for a deep dive into the City’s finances, the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) gives you a thorough review of the City’s financial position. For those of you who just want a quick overview, the Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) is an easy-to-read report designed to provide a summary of the City’s overall financial condition.
The City of Azle continues to receive awards from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting for its PAFR and Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for its ACFR. Both awards are prestigious national awards recognizing conformance with the highest standards for preparation of state and local government financial reports.
