Education Class Certifications
CAM, CAPS & CALP
Advertisement
The AMA believes in the importance and impact that continuing education has on a career. Our industry is dynamic and always changing! The Arizona Multihousing Association supports our members who desire to pursue education by earning a professional certification from NAAEI. In an effort to support professionals who may require financial assistance to achieve a certification, the AMA awards over $8,500 in full and partial scholarships for our CAM, CAPS, and CALP programs. These scholarships make it possible for some members to earn a national property management credential, enhance their career, and pave a path for continued success in the multi-family industry.
Achieving my CAM has been the best investment in my career. Having a more in-depth understanding, especially with budgets, has helped me to be a better Manager and Team Leader. Doing anything for a long period of time will gain overall knowledge, the CAM provided me with a deeper understanding of the topics and allows me to better understand the questions and requests coming from ownership. I love that we have the resources to be better at what we do because that is ultimately what we should all be striving for.”
– Kirsten McElhaney, CAM
Community Manager, Sage Luxury Apartments 2020 CAM Graduate
Earning my NALP through the
AMA was so easy to do, and incredibly helpful to my career. It helped give me confidence in my day-to-day job, as well as motivate me to push for more out of my career. The teacher was incredible, and any issue I ran into was very easily solved by a simple email to the AMA team. I could not be grateful and happy to have taken this course.”
– Troy Row, NALP
