We are lucky!
How lucky were we to get all dressed up and celebrate the 2021 Design Excellence Awards, in-person and all together? Held at the gorgeous, newly renovated Renaissance in downtown Phoenix, our local design elite gathered for an evening of community and celebration. With over 90 awards given, it never ceases to amaze me LAUREN STURMAN the level of talent our community brings to the table every year. I got to mix and mingle Modern Luxury with so many of you, but my personal table included the familiar faces of Jeni Dettaglio Group Publisher from Dettaglio Design and Katherine Mueller from CeTerra Accents and Design - both big winners throughout the evening.
Sitting there in the audience I got to appreciate not only being in person with everyone, but the vast and phenomenal talent that the people in the room embodied. I loved watching both the work displayed on the big screens, as well as the thoughtful speeches from all the winners.
Congratulations to this past year’s President, Paddy Rasmussen, for staging an incredible evening that went off without a hitch. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with her over this past year and I know that the organization is stronger because of her. I’m looking forward to working with Jennifer Biffer (one of the big winners of the evening) as she takes the helm of this chapter for the next year.
