Photographic Portraits of Americans and Their Musical Instruments

September 15th, 2011 - September 21st, 2011

“The most interesting point for me is that these are portraits,” said MIM curator Christina Linsenmeyer. “These are people posing with musical instruments that represent their love of music or, in many cases, some sort of social standing. It’s part of their identity.”

To further bring the photos to life, the exhibition is enhanced by early 20th-century newsreel footage of musicians performing in the places where they lived and played, from country dances and churches to nightclubs. Also on display will be rare musical instruments from MIM’s own American collection, selected to match, as closely as possible, the instruments seen in the photos. For instance, a Zimmerman plucked zither from 1880–1890 is the exact same make and model of the instrument seen in one photo. “We went through considerable care to match the images showing instruments with pieces from MIM’s collection,” said Linsenmeyer. “It was a really interesting exercise. ‘Okay, here’s a selection of photos with typical instruments from that era. So how well does MIM’s collection reflect that?’” ther instrumental highlights include O a Martin-style 2–32 parlor guitar from 1850–1867; an exquisite sixstring piccolo banjo from the late 19th century, with Tunbridge-warestyle marquetry; an imposing reed organ (c. 1875) from the Smith Organ Company; a selection of over-theshoulder horns used by marching bands of the time; and a John F. Luscomb banjo (c. 1890) that closely resembles one seen in a photo of flirtatious actress Theresa Vaughn. “One of the main features will be the banjo, mandolin, and guitar groups of

musical instruments. We see the fashions of the time—high collars, floor-length hems, and the short ties and big collars worn by vaudeville entertainers. It’s a slice of time.”

MIM enriches the world community by collecting, preserving, and making accessible high-quality musical instruments, images, and music from every country in the world. The museum celebrates our world’s diverse musical cultures

the day,” said Linsenmeyer. “We see the popularity of these instruments hitting the masses. But we also see soldiers, families, professional entertainers, vaudevillians. . . . It’s a fairly good cross section of humanity. And it’s not just the

Arizona Lottery News

He nearly Forgot about the Ticket A Phoenix man, who works as an event planner, had recently borrowed $30 from a friend and went to the ATM and withdrew $40 so he could pay him back. He stopped at a store to get change and used the leftover $10 to purchase five Quick Picks for the Powerball with the PowerPlay. He put the ticket in the glove compartment of his car and forgot about it. About two weeks after the June 22 drawing, he remembered he had bought

a ticket and left it in the car. He checked the ticket online - Then he checked it about five more times before he convinced himself that this ticket that he had almost forgot about - was worth a cool….One Million Dollars! He used the self-scanner at the store just to be sure, signed the back of the ticket and went straight to the Lottery. The ticket was purchased at a Circle K in Phoenix at 10612 N. Cave Creek Rd. The new Millionaire plans to invest his winnings - for his retirement and college for his children.

The winner who wished to remain anonymous has definite plans for his winnings. First on his list is to pay off his car, put a down payment on a house, pay back a loan his parents gave him and give $1,000 to the clerk who sold him the winning ticket.

June 15, 2011, turned out to be a very lucky day for a Scottsdale man when he scratched off a Deluxe Crossword Scratchers ticket and discovered he’d won $100,000! The winning ticket was purchased in Phoenix at the 7-Eleven, 3912 E. Camelback Rd. When he first scratched the ticket and read the play instructions, he didn’t think there were enough red words to be a big winner. After reviewing the ticket again, it finally registered that he really was holding a ticket worth one hundred thousand dollars!

Reviewers’ Roundtable

The following quotes were pulled from reviews written by AZ Weekly Entertainment Magazine’s Film Section contributors to present readers with a wider perspective about this weekend’s new releases. At 27 years old, Joseph J. Airdo is a Walter Cronkite School of Journalism graduate with a degree in media analysis and criticism. Randy Montgomery,

34, works in media and marketing and holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Education. And, at 64 years old, Stan Robinson is a retired First Assistant Director with more than 22 years of experience in film and media production. Read their full reviews of these and other movies exclusively online at Examiner. com, AZWeeklyMagazine.com and ScreenScene.org, respectively.

‘Another Harvest Moon’ An elderly man (Ernest Borgnine) contemplates suicide while his friends in the nursing home try to talk him down. Also starring Piper Laurie and Anne Meara. Playing exclusively at Harkins Shea 14. (PG-13 – 100 minutes) Joseph: “One’s time is better spent volunteering at an actual old folks’ home than watching director Greg Swartz’s dull-as-dishwater drama ‘Another Harvest Moon.’ In fact, one is likely to learn more about the elderly from the experience than from this movie, too. Joseph: “Director Jeff Prosserman likely learned his documentary filmmaking skills by watching ‘Unsolved Mysteries.’ After all, Prosserman’s ‘Chasing Madoff’ is chock-full of shadowy reenactments similar to those that made the old television series such a guilty pleasure. Rather than offering any new insight into Ponzi schemer Bernie Madoff, the director not only regurgitates the same old story but also fails to trust the attraction of said story, resorting to cheesy melodrama.” Grade: D

cut with a knife. And eventually it is, with plenty of blood being spilled as a result. A simple seat belt is sincerely insufficient to save moviegoers from the best motion picture of 2011 thus far. ‘Drive’ is provocatively poetic and practically perfect from departure to destination.” Grade: A Stan: “Reminded of the European style of one of my favorite writer/ action directors Luc Beeson and the Transporter films, Ryan Gosling breaks from the usual lighter themed roles to present a complex character study of a man determined to survive in three separate worlds. The expertly staged action sequences by director Nicolas Winding Refn and finely chiseled characters with each having issues and desires of their own, ‘Drive’ is a non-stop ride.” Grade: B+

Actress Ursula Andress was the first ‘Bond Girl’ as Honeychile Rider in ‘Dr. No’, the first James Bond movie starring Sean Connery in 1962!

Joseph: “Documentary filmmaker Roko Belic must have read too many Cliff’s Notes when he was in high school. His sophomore directorial effort ‘Happy,’ which screened this spring at the Phoenix Film Festival, feels less like a self-contained feature-length project than a summary of several other movies – any of which would have been better than this. Granted, Belic’s unfocused approach affords an all-encompassing glimpse at many facets of a significant subject but ticket-purchasers ordered an entree, not the appetizer sampler.” Grade: D

Also starring Pierce Brosnan and Greg Kinnear. (PG-13 – 100 minutes) Joseph: “The worst part about Sarah Jessica Parker’s new dramedy ‘I Don’t Know How She Does It’ is that the character the actress portrays doesn’t. Do it, that is. Though she is constantly called a ‘juggler’ and praised for her uncanny ability to balance her career and her family, the character would be laughed out of life by women who manage to do so a whole lot better – and most of them have more than just two children. Moreover, Aline Brosh McKenna’s screenplay, based on Alison Pearson’s novel, is about as generic as a sitcom’s single-episode subplot.” Grade: D Stan: “Its light hearted look at the life of a wife, mother, and a career woman who manages to hold it

Joseph: “‘The Last Circus’ could accurately be described as a physically disfigured version of ‘Water for Elephants’ in which the three lead characters go completely insane. Needless to say, if that comparison has piqued your curiosity, chances are that ‘The Last Circus’ is for you. Having said that, much like the disparity between a happy clown and a sad clown, writer/director Álex de la Iglesia’s romantically horrific dramedy suffers from an extreme case of bipolar disorder with the first half hour being boringly bridled and the last half hour being brokenly berserk.” Grade: C

Randy: “‘World on a Wire’ was originally a two-part German television miniseries in 1973. It is being released as one feature with a whopping running time of over 200 minutes. If you can sit that long, you will be greatly rewarded. This masterpiece is worth every minute of your time. While somewhat dated in its camerawork and musical score, the story was way ahead of its time and plays out as a mystery. Director Rainer Werner Fassbinder’s creative use of mirrors and reflective images add to the ‘realities’ the viewer must decipher. A creative and unique piece of filmmaking.” Grade: A-

I didn’t even notice them until about a week into shooting. But when I realized it, I thought, ‘Oh my God... where are we?’

“The WWE is my everyday existence and that is more like theater while this is film. This was more of an emotional project – more drama – and I learned a lot about the things that I can do in terms of the emotion that I can portray on camera.

“We had a couple of alligators pop up just looking around to see what was going on. There was one alligator that kept trying to make a cameo. We were like, ‘Not yet, buddy. Not yet. You have got to get your SAG card first.’

“It was something different. It was not just a straight-up, blowup action film. It was more a story of people’s lives intersecting. It was more character driven. I liked that aspect of it. And it was also an opportunity to work with a lot of phenomenal people.

“I found out that I can act in some pretty murky and unideal circumstances, covered in mud at 4-o-clock in the morning for weeks in an actual swamp. If you can pull that off, you can definitely put a suit on and go to a courtroom.” – Mehcad Brooks Read Joseph J. “If you were starting from scratch, the wrestling business is much tougher to try and grasp. I think the learning curve is a lot longer and a lot harder. Stop in to Sierra Bonita Grill by Chef Rachel Albert Sierra Bonita Grill takes its name from the oldest family owned ranch in the state of Arizona, founded in 1872 and known for innovative ranching methods and unwavering hospitality. From the wood used for tables, chairs, and ceiling to the paintings, photographs, and bronze statues,

every piece of artwork has a story behind it that celebrates Arizona’s history. “When people see the name, they often assume we’re a Mexican restaurant,” says manager Nate Hopper. “We’re not. We surprise people with the food. It’s a fusion between Native American cowboy and Latin flavors.” The neighborhood restaurant, located on the SE corner of 7th Street and Glendale Ave, attracts a steady stream of regulars who dine there week after week, year after year and 90% of them live in North central Phoenix. They use locally sourced ingredients from small farmers whenever possible and easily accommodate people with food allergies or intolerances. The appetizers, soups, sandwiches and entrees offer refreshing flavors and many often combinations of ingredients, such as Oaxacan chocolate and espresso rubbed pork loin finished with a vanilla bean serrano chile butter sauce. They are open for lunch and dinner Sunday and Monday from 11 am to 9 pm, Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am to 10 pm and for a Southwestern Brunch on Saturdays from 11am to 3pm and Sundays from 10am to 3pm.

They have patio seating for 24 people and three private dining rooms downstairs, including a wine room, that are available for parties, luncheons, and business meetings. Friendly English pub with food for both Brits and Yanks

When Martha Stewart recently asked her Twitter followers whether she was “hip,” she was deluged with responses to the affirmative. That led us to look up the definition of the word – just to make sure we were all on the same page. It turns out that Webster’s defines it as, “aware of and interested in the latest trends.” So if you consider that Stewart virtually created the “how to entertain, style, cook, bake, grow” genre that dominates both cable and network television, she actually is hip. Nicole Scherzinger, Steve Jones, Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and L.A. Reid (from left)

The season’s most hyped show, “The X Factor,” asks the $5 million question: Who has the X Factor, and what, exactly, is it? Simon Cowell, executive producer of the singing contest, a U.K phenomenon, returns as a judge with former “American Idol” colleague Paula Abdul, record executive L.A. Reid and performer Nicole Scherzinger. The show is Fox’s prime time for Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 21 and 22, and continues on both nights until its Dec. 22 finale. Given that it is a Fox talent show for singers, with Cowell and Abdul judging, comparisons to “American Idol” are inevitable. “It is different,” Cowell says. “I was always working on both shows, and ‘Idol’ is a pussycat and this show is a tiger. Both are cats and one is crazier than the other. This is much more a reflection of my personality than the other show. Instead of auditions in a hotel room, these are in front of 5,000 people.”

Not that a producer would deflect buzz, but Cowell acknowledges this show has attracted more attention than would be expected of his reunion with Abdul. “I think part of the reason is we have had so many people come to the auditions,” Cowell says. “We must have had 70,000 people. And they all Twitter now, and they started the buzz. It is a good show.”

Singers vie to win TV’s largest prize ever – a $5 million Syco Sony record contract. The winner will also be featured in a Super Bowl commercial for Pepsi, a show sponsor. After two weeks of audition shows, contestants hone skills in boot camp. The 32 acts that survive boot camp are then divided into four categories: males 12 to 30, females 12 to 30, everyone over 30, and singing groups.

The multi-talented Jay Mohr’s career has spanned over two decades. He first walked on stage to do stand-up comedy at the young age of sixteen and quickly received audience notice with his dead-on impressions of Christopher Walken, Tracy Morgan, Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro, Norm MacDonald and Ina Gartner from The Food Network. Most recently Jay starred on the hit CBS television series “Gary Unmarried,” where he solidified his talent on the silver screen. He also created, executive produced and hosted “Last Comic Standing,” which was on the air for six seasons. Other credits include “Action” and

THE WAYANS BROTHERS

September 22nd – 25th The Wayans family is filled with talented members, so there is no surprise that the two youngest brothers, Shawn and Marlon Wayans, have followed in their family’s footsteps as Hollywood icons. These two comedic prodigies have accomplished a lot in their relatively short careers so far. Both Shawn and Marlon Wayans made their acting debut in 1989 in their brother Keenen Ivory Wayans’ feature film “I’m Gonna Get You Sucka.” Immediately following their feature film debut, they joined the cast of the Emmy Award winning comedy series, “In Living Color.” Shawn and Marlon’s past film credits include the hit comedy “Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in The Hood,” which they co-wrote, produced and starred in together. The movie was a comic spoof of the coming-of-age-in-the-hood movies and is a huge cult favorite. Additional film credits include “Little Man”, “White Chicks”, “Scary Movie”, “Scary Movie 2”, “Dance Flick”, and “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra”. Showtimes: Thurs: 8PM / Fri. 7:30PM 9:45PM / Saturday 7:00PM / 9:45PM / Sun. 7:00PM Tickets $35.

Less than 60% and you may need to conduct more in-depth research. Even if you scored over 60%,

Hello again everyone, how about those Diamondbacks? Things are looking up these days here in AZ. The D-Backs are in First Place, The Cardinals won game number one and the weather is finally breaking! Even more important, the October beers are here & today we shall chat about one of the most unusual. Autumn Maple from The Bruery. Located in Orange County CA., The Bruery specializes in unfiltered, 100% bottle conditioned Belgian Style beers. They have only been open a few years but have acquired numerous accolades such as a place in RateBeer.com’s 100 Best Breweries in The World! The name Bruery is a blend of the words “Brewery” and owner Patrick Rue’s last name. Quite cool!

BEER! SECTION

Autumn Maple, Tiz the Season!!!

Now as they say, let’s get this show on the road. Autumn Maple is an October Seasonal brewed with yams, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, vanilla, molasses, maple syrup, then fermented with a traditional Belgian Yeast. Brewed with yams as opposed to pumpkin, the spicy flavor is similar but also quite unique. The pour is dark maple with a thick creamy head. On the nose you’ll find all of the flavors of fall wrapped up into one. Nutmeg, vanilla, cinnamon, yams and touch of honey really ring in the holiday season. Taste follows the nose with a strong malt backbone and a nice smooth finish. Certainly fall in a bottle and one I have been looking forward to all year! ABV. sits at a tall 10% although all those holiday flavors mask it well. You won’t realize you’re drinking a strong ale until after you get up for that second helping of pumpkin pie and realize you have achieved quite a nice little buzz! Don’t you just love this time of the year? This brew will pair beautifully with any and all of your holiday recipes from Halloween right through Christmas. My favorite match would be with pumpkin pie covered in ginger sprinkles and crème fresh or Imperial Stout braised turkey with cranberry sauce. Wow do I have a sweet tooth!

Check out where to enjoy and purchase these local brands on “Beer Spy” at www.worldclassbeverages.com AZWeeklyMagazine.com

Autumn Maple scores a hearty 97 for style on Ratebeer.com and is deserving of such a high mark as I’m sure you will realize once you give it a try. As always keep sending your feedback and opinions to kingjamesswann@gmail. com and this time around, make sure that old Halloween costume you paid entirely too much for still fits! Until next week, Cheers!

It might seem a little strange to hear a team less than two years removed from a 1-15 season talking Super Bowl, but Sam Bradford has had that effect on the St. Louis Rams. Indeed, the play of the former No. 1 overall pick in the 2010 draft was nothing short of scintillating in his rookie season, as he led the former doormat Rams out of the basement in the NFC West to within a game of the postseason. Handed the starting job straight out of training camp (a practice almost unheard of for rookie quarterbacks), the strongarmed Oklahoma alum and 2008 Heisman Trophy winner responded by passing for 3,512 yards with 18 touchdowns and 15 interceptions while completing 60 percent of his passes. Along the way, he established rookie records for completions (354), attempts (590) and most consecutive passes without an interception (169), while earning the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award.

Originally an elementary schoolteacher and ranch hand where she cared for horses, Bluhm says she always loved singing, but never considered it a calling. “For me a career was something you had to earn,” she says. “So to label myself as a musician felt really uncomfortable for me.” If you haven’t seen Nicki Bluhm perform before, you really should. Here’s your chance. If you have seen her, well, then, we don’t have to tell you. We’ll see you guys Sunday, September 25th at The Compound Grill. Mrs. Bluhm has been compared to Bonnie Raitt, Stevie Nicks, Linda Ronstadt, Joni Mitchell and pretty much every other great leading lady of rock ’n’ roll. She is reminiscent off all of them at times, while retaining a voice all her own — comforting, smoky, velvety, textured, whiskey-tinged, and beautiful. The Gramblers most recent album, “Driftwood,” features members of The Mother Hips (including her husband, front man Tim Bluhm), ALO, Railroad Earth, Jackie Greene, Dengue Fever and the Skinny Singers. It’s Americana pop rock, with a little country and a lot of California soul. Limited Seating is available with the purchase of tickets. Hits that are constantly requested like “Lido Shuffle,” “Lowdown,” “Jo Jo,” “Look What You’ve Done to Me” (from the Urban Cowboy soundtrack) and many others. Born in Texas and raised with an abiding respect for a wide spectrum of American roots music, Scaggs has combined rock, jazz, R&B and blues to create a trademark sound. With an extensive and distinctive career that has spanned 30 years and many accolades, Scaggs continues to prove himself as one of music’s most creative and original artists. Scaggs’ current albums are Greatest Hits Live and Speak Low.

Five-time Grammy Award winner Michael McDonald has been called a blue-eyed soul singer/ songwriter. His distinctive husky baritone voice fronted some of the Doobie Brothers biggest hits including “Takin’ It To The Streets,” “What A Fool Believes” and “Minute By Minute.” McDonald’s solo career was a huge success as well with such smash hits as “I Keep Forgettin’ (Every Time You’re Near)” and “Sweet Freedom.” He’s also known for such winning partnerships as “ Ya Mo B There” with James Ingram, “On My Own” with Patti LaBelle and memorable versions of several Motown tunes like “I Heard It Through The Grapevine ” and “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.”

The Night Owl BY EVELYN ROMANS

Third Thursday at The Mint

7000 East Mayo Boulevard Phoenix, 85054 • (480) 419-6375

Every third Thursday of the month, Scottsdale League for the Arts holds an event to bring art lovers together in order to support the valley’s local artists and the future of Arizona’s art education programs. The cover for this event is just $5 and that goes directly to their charity along with any other donations you wish to contribute. There will also be drink specials, complimentary hors d’oeuvres, and a raffle claiming to have great prizes. Even if you aren’t a big art fan or absolutely hate the pretentious attitude associated with art events such as this one, you can’t deny the importance of sustaining art programs for the youth of our community. You also shouldn’t deny the drink specials and free snacks. If you’ve ever been to The Mint, then you probably know how obnoxiously crowded it gets on the weekends. Yeah, it has a huge patio but on Friday and Saturday nights, you’re restricted to your own little spot in the corner where you and your beverage is safe from being bumped and God forbid, from being spilt all over your new pumps. Thursday seems like the perfect opportunity for you to fully appreciate all that The Mint has to offer—from the bar in the bathroom to the fancy lights and décor. Not only will you save yourself from the sloppiness that seems to occur on Amateur nights (Fridays and Saturdays), but you’ll also be supporting that kid who dreams of being the next Picasso. Thursday, September 15th. 5:30 – 7:30. www.facebook.com/ leagueforthearts $5.

various RA locations will have either DJs or live music playing all evening. The Old Town location will have a special guest DJ spinning while local band, Elvis Before Noon will be rocking the Downtown Tempe spot from 8 to 11. I’m pretty sure most of us have made a stop at our local RA at one point this past summer so why not celebrate the season’s memories there this Thursday. Kanpai! Thursday, September 15th. 7 pm – Close. All RA locations.

With more than 50 “Game of the Year” awards, 13 million copies sold worldwide, best-selling novels, a line of action figures and an upcoming feature film, it’s hard to define the “Gears of War” franchise without using words like “legendary” and “blockbuster.” The Epic Games creation helped to re-imagine the third-person shooter genre by creating a visual experience that left the world in awe, while offering an adrenaline rush through fast-paced and well-conceived gameplay. Much like any other game that rises to the top of the industry, sequels galore are sure to grace consoles for years to come. It is that business practice that brings us to our latest post-apocalyptic fragfest, “Gears of War 3.”

“Escape & Enjoy” Athena Greek Cuisine is a modern and spacious restaurant with white pillars for decor. Happy Hour is 7 days a week, 4-7pm with a complimentary appetizer buffet presented by Executive Chef Charles Bowman and Chef Pete Liagos. The menu ranges from $4-$7 items. I took a stretch and tried the caviar mousse which was really delicious. I always pair one drink with the dishes that I order and I enjoyed the appletini very much. 7000 E Mayo Blvd #26, Phoenix, AZ 85054

“More Bang for Your Buck” Everyone loves some amazing Chinese food. Jimmy Woos in Old Town Scottsdale is awesome for happy hour. The best deal is the emporer slider where you get: crab puffs, spare ribs, chicken and pork dumplings, and two egg rolls for only $15. Their cocktails are half off and so are their bottles of wine. This restaurant’s atmosphere is more than visually pleasing with their red fusions and upscale atmosphere. Happy hour is every day from 3-7pm. 4233 North Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85251

“Roll On Through” There are several locations for RA sushi bar, but Tempe has to be my favorite. I enjoy the dim lighting and the traffic that comes through in that area. The vegas roll is fabulous and only $7. The mango margarita is one of my favorite drinks and they definitely make them well. The staff is always real friendly and accommodating. Happy hour is MondayFriday 4-7pm. 411 South Mill Avenue #103, Tempe, AZ 85281.

MILLIONS & MILLIONS & MILLIONS MORE I’m certain you’ve heard yourself say, as did I “I thought of that when I was a kid.” People laughed when Al Gore said he invented the internet… but I’ll bet dollars to donuts he probably did think of it, he just did not know what to do with it. As a matter of fact I invented the fax machine when I was 5. The even harder to accept truth is the “I could’ve thought of that” idea. Well I say, “As long as I live and breathe, it is never too late.” Here are a few for inspiration and some helpful hints to get them off the ground. So what does it take to make $100 million? CNBC’s “How I Made My Millions” is a great place to start. This show picks up where Donny Deutsch left off (THE BIG IDEA WITH DONNY DEUTSCH, THAT WAS GREAT T.V.) Both shows reveal how everyday people have taken ordinary ideas and turned them into extraordinary businesses. Each of these entrepreneurs took a risk, believed in their dream and, thanks to a lot of hard work, a little luck, and possibly investors with eyes on ingenuity and innovation became millionaires. Google some of these rags to riches ideas: The Koosh Ball; Scott Stillinger, Santa Mail; Byron Reese, Lucky Break Wishbones; Ken Ahroni, Antenna Balls; Jason Wall, Chia plant, The Excused Absence Network, Pet Rock, Doggles, The Corn Maze; Brett Herbst, Wiggles Dog Wigs; Ruth Regina, Pet Supply Vending; Carlotta Lennox The Million Dollar Homepage. A 21 year-old college student in England set up a website where you could buy pixels on his homepage for $1 each. Within 4 months he had sold a million pixels! What I found most interesting is that he took the first $1000 dollars and bought a press release which he distributed to media sources. Then, he sold the last 1,000 pixels on eBay for over $150,000!!! How’s that for supply and demand?

The term ‘computer bug’ was coined after a moth flew into a computer’s circuitry. The World’s Most Expensive Book is Birds of America, listed at $11.4 million. This 3-foot tall book includes 1,000 life-size illustrations of 435 birds drawn by West Indian-born American artist John James Audubon in the 1830s.

Contrary to popular belief the line “Luke, I am your father” is never spoken in a Star Wars film. The actual line is “No, I am your father.” This is another famous quote that was actually misquoted.

Early European tickle torture punishments included a method in which salt water was applied to the feet of victims and goats were made to lick it, the method was repeated until the victims died of laughter.

SatLav.; The Westminster City Council, which covers Oxford Street, the West End, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament in London, recently launched a toilet finding service for cell phone users. Green Ideas That Made Millions Rent-a-Green Box; Spencer Brown, SolarCity; Lyndon and Peter Rive makes solar power accessible to everyone by eliminating up-front cost through a leasing system. Ideas and Inventions can come from anywhere and anyone and you can always invest in someone else’s idea or invention.
