BABCP is the lead organisation for people involved in the practice and theory of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) in the UK and Ireland. We are the only organisation in the UK and Ireland which accredits CBT therapists and currently have in excess of 12,000 members. Exhibition arrangements The University of Bath's Claverton Down campus is located in the east side of the glorious Roman city of Bath. Registration, catering, BABCP Branch and Special Interest Group stands and commercial stands are located on two floors, ensuring that the exhibition area is the main hub of the conference, and the place where people congregate and network. The pre-Conference Workshops will be held on Tuesday 3 September with the Annual Conference starting that evening with a Welcome Reception at 6.30pm. The exhibition will start at 1pm on Tuesday 3 September, so that exhibitors have an opportunity to meet workshop delegates as well as those attending the Conference. Set up: Tuesday 3 September................9.00am - 1.00pm Exhibition open: Tuesday 3 September................1.00pm - 8.00pm (Welcome reception 6.30pm – 8.00pm) Wednesday 4 September.........9.00am - 5.00pm Thursday 5 September..............9.00pm - 5.00pm Breakdown: Thursday 5 September..............5.00pm - 7.00pm Please note that the above hours are for guidance only. The Registration Desk will be situated in the exhibition area and will be open daily from 8.00am to 7.00pm and you are welcome to have your stand open during these hours.
Exhibition Stands Exhibition stands are available in 3m x 2m space sites @ £1,350 + VAT. All stands include one trestle table and table cloth, two chairs, electrical socket and Wi-Fi. Exhibiting companies will be entitled to two badges per stand. Badges entitle exhibitors to free refreshments and lunches but not access to the conference sessions. Additional badges can be purchased for £40 per person, per day. To reserve your stand please complete the booking form and return it to Wisepress as soon as possible. Exhibition Booking Terms and Conditions The terms below are used through this document. For clarification each has been defined. ‘Exhibitor’ is used to describe any organisation or person who has made an application to exhibit and had that place confirmed in writing. ‘Organiser’ refers to Wisepress Ltd. ‘Exhibition’ refers to the BABCP Annual Conference. ‘Venue’ refers to conference location. General All exhibitors must confirm their booking by completing the official booking form and attaching a cheque, BACS details, credit card number or an official purchase order. Any invoices should be paid within 30 days and must be paid prior to the event. No exhibition stand may be sub-let to a third party without written consent of the organisers. Cancellations (or reductions in requirements) must be notified in writing and will be charged based upon the date of notification. More than 3 calendar months prior to the 1st day of the month of the event – 20% Less than 3 calendar months and more than 1 calendar month prior to the 1st day of the month of the event – 50% Less than 1 calendar month prior to the 1st day of the month of the event – 100% Exhibition The organisers will produce a printed version of the exhibition floor plan. While the organisers will attempt to preserve the printed layout of the exhibition, should it be necessary to revise the layout for any reason, the organiser reserves the right to transfer an exhibitor to a suitable alternative space. The exhibitor must occupy the space allocated by the organiser. Exhibitors must not take up more space than they have booked without onsite authorisation from the organiser. The exhibitor will have a no claim against the organiser, the venue or any other contractor with regards to any loss or damage during the exhibition or carriage of equipment. Exhibitors are advised to ensure that they have adequate insurance. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to ensure that employees and any display equipment comply with the latest legislation regarding the Health and Safety at Work regulations. The exhibitor must abide by the set-up and breakdown times as stated by the organiser. The set-up/breakdown times will be listed in your confirmation information. Important Note Force majeure - Wisepress Ltd will not be liable for any failure to provide or delay in the provision, all services, as a result of events or matters outside its control. This booking form constitutes a legally binding contract. It may be necessary for reasons beyond the control of The British Association of Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies to change the content and timing of the programme. In the unlikely event of the programme being cancelled, Wisepress Ltd will automatically make a full refund but disclaim further liability. By completing the booking form the exhibitor agrees to all terms and conditions and all other instructions listed.
