WHERE DO THESE PRAYERS AND WRITINGS COME FROM? The verses collected in this book come from the Bahá’í Faith. The Bahá’í Faith is a worldwide religious community that believes that all people belong to one human family, that there is one God, and that all the major religions of the world are like chapters in one evolving book. In this way, from a Bahá’í perspective, there is just one religion, which has had many di²erent names as it has been updated throughout history. Some of these names include Buddhism, Hinduism, Zoroastrianism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. There are other, older ones, but the names have been lost to time.

Each religion was established by a Prophet, or Messenger of God, Who brought guidance that was suited to the time in which They appeared.
