Twenty-five luxury suites ease along the curve of Kangaroo Island's limestone cliffs, each with open views of the Southern Ocean and rolling coastal wilderness. Signature design elements include limestone floors and blackwood feature walls combined with custom-designed furnishings and works commissioned from South Australian artists to offer private house seats for the natural theatre of this dramatic landscape. All suites feature king Baillie Beds and a spacious lounge opening to an outdoor terrace. Generous ensuite bathrooms offer a rain shower, bathtub and signature Southern Spa amenities. Other features include a walk-in robe, complimentary in-suite bar, climate control, heated floors, wireless internet, music system, safe and telephone. Bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer and backpacks are provided along with daily housekeeping and signature evening turndown service.

Flinders Suite

Cleverly designed to embrace views of the magnificent Southern Ocean, the Flinders Suite features king or twin beds, a spacious walk-in robe and in-suite bar. A curved lounge provides a comfortable nook for surveying the scene and comes complete with an EcoSmart fireplace clad in local limestone. An ensuite bathroom boasts a twin vanity, freestanding bath and oversized rain shower while an outdoor terrace invites an easy connection with the landscape.

Remarkable Suite

Perfect for friends and families travelling together, the Remarkable Suite offers two king bedrooms (one bedroom offers optional twin beds), each with walk-in robe and spacious ensuite bathroom with deep bathtub. A curved lounge is warmed by an EcoSmart fireplace, an ideal space for languishing with a drink from the bar as the sun softens. Outside on the terrace, a plunge pool hovers atop the coastal heath, creating a horizon effect with the Southern Ocean beyond.

Check-in / Check-out

Check-in time is 2pm and check-out time is 10.30am. Where possible, flexibility with early check-in and late check-out will be provided, in the meantime guests are welcome to enjoy the lodge’s generous guest spaces including the restaurant and lounge areas.

Ocean Pavilion

The ultra-premium Ocean Pavilion crowns the clifftop to offer sweeping panoramas of sky and sea. Designed as an exclusive owner’s residence, the Ocean Pavilion offers four king bedrooms (two bedrooms offer a ‘Hollywood style’ twin option), each with walk-in robe and ensuite bathroom distinguished by a freestanding bath and deluxe rain shower. Two separate living areas offer abundant space to relax, appointed with bespoke furnishings, commissioned artworks, feature fireplaces and premium bars. A step outside reveals the ultimate in glamour: two plunge pools overlooking the coast. Perfect for multi-generational families and friends travelling together, the Ocean Pavilion may also be configured as two separate suites.

Ocean Pavilion West Ocean Pavilion East

Ocean Pavilion West showcases the spectacularly wild surrounds, gloriously observed from the central lounge with its dramatic suspended fireplace. Two bedrooms offer king Baillie Beds (one bedroom offers a ‘Hollywood style’ twin option), walk-in robes and ensuite bathrooms. While outdoors on the expansive terrace, an infinity-edge pool reaches out to the horizon for a personal nature-meets-luxury experience.

Ocean Pavilion East offers an entertainers' lounge with stunning coastal vistas framed by floor-to-ceiling glass, warmed by an EcoSmart fireplace. Two bedrooms feature king Baillie Beds (one bedroom offers a ‘Hollywood style’ twin option), walk-in robes and ensuite bathrooms. Outside on the sun terrace, a plunge pool invites a refreshing dip in between adventures or temptingly under the stars at night.
