BURIED WAREHOUSE TAŞKALE/KARAMAN
RABİA BALTACI ARC/102 EXTREME STORAGE
1
PROJECT AREA
Karaman - TaĹ&#x;kale
*The reason I choose this area is that I am not inspired by grain warehouse when I make a warehouse area.
Traditional Granary Systems 2
TAŞKALE THROUGH SECTION
*When I talked to the people of Taşkale, they said that the village of Taşkale was very suitable for agriculture, but they tried to finish the products without spoiling in the family and they sold the rest
*Based on my own observations, I saw that the stone castle does not have enough storage space because they use some of their stables as normal storage area. 3
TASKALE AVAILABLE WAREHOUSE AREAS *When we look at the existing storage areas in TaĹ&#x;kale, we generally see that they are both unhealthy and small areas outside the houses. In addition, we see that they are not practical storage areas because they are difficult to access and use
4
TAĹžKALE MAPPING *When I was on a ďŹ eld trip in Karaman, I especially paid attention to the storage areas. I have determined which areas are stored and which storage areas are missing the most. Mapping is about these areas.

STORAGE (GRAÄ°N) DIAGRAM *In this diagram, we see the storage rate of fruit by months *This diagram helped me determine the size of my storage areas and which food is available in which region, especially in design
5 6
PROGRAM DIAGRAM *This diagram gives us information especially about how the system works inside. It shows which regions the rail system passes and how it works.

STORYBOARD
*Storyboards progress with a certain area and tell us the areas we see in the sections. In the first collage, we see that the food coming by car is loaded into the rail system and travels into the warehouse. In the other collage, we see the system inside the warehouses and how warehouse workers make storage.
*In the last section, there is a closed market area created against bad weather conditions and a small room in the back where the employees can rest and spend time and use for meetings.
*In the collage of the second section, we see more of the garden part. In the first collage, we see how the market area is settled in the first collage and how people spend time, and in the other collage, the field where farmers engaged in agriculture are experimenting with their new products in the garden section.

ELEVATION
*The following is about how life is in the area I designed in the collage and how people spend time. It also tells how the transport system in the area is.
9
AREA COLLAGE *The area I chose is a region that has been carved in the mountain, which I have determined especially inspired by TaĹ&#x;kale granaries. In this collage, we see how my project looks like in this area.
