– QB Lamar Jackson on being ready for the season opener The Baltimore Ravens kick off their 25th season when they open the 2020 NFL campaign by hosting the Cleveland Browns at 1 p.m. Baltimore looks to capture a win in its fifth-straight season opener. Under John Harbaugh, the Ravens are 9-3 on Kickoff Weekend.

The Ravens own a 31-11 series lead over the Browns, including a 20-4 mark under Coach Harbaugh. In 2019, the No. 1 AFC playoff seed Ravens (14-2) won a franchise-record 12-straight games to close out the regular season, before falling at home in the Divisional round, 28-12, to the Tennessee Titans.

Under Coach Harbaugh, Baltimore is one of four NFL teams (NE, GB & Sea.) to earn a playoff berth in eight of the past 12 seasons. In '19, the Ravens ranked No. 1 in points (33.2) and rushing yards (206.0) per game, while they were No. 2 in total yards (407.6). Baltimore set a new NFL singleseason rushing record (3,296 yards). In 2019, unanimous NFL MVP QB Lamar Jackson accounted for a league-high 43 total TDs, including a league-best (and franchise-record) 36 passing scores. In 2019, Baltimore allowed the NFL’s third-fewest points (17.6) and fourthfewest net yards (300.6) per game. The Ravens produced the No. 5 run “D” (93.4 ypg) and were No. 6 vs. the pass (207.2 ypg).

As the Ravens enter their 25th season of existence, the success they’ve had drafting standout players since their 1996 Baltimore arrival cannot be ignored. Over the past 24 years, led by Ozzie Newsome and now Eric DeCosta, the Ravens have drafted an NFLbest 15 players who went on to earn AP first-team All-Pro honors. When including undrafted rookie K Justin Tucker, Baltimore has produced 16 “homegrown” AP firstteam All-Pro selections.
