THANKSGIVING EVENTS & INITIATIVES

This November, Ravens players and alumni returned to in-person holiday giving to help distribute winter coats, turkeys and Thanksgiving meals to those in need across Baltimore. On Nov. 15, CB Anthony Averett, WR Miles Boykin, CB Marlon Humphrey, P Sam Koch, DB/LB Anthony Levine Sr., K Justin Tucker and DT Broderick Washington distributed coats and coldweather gear to Baltimore men in need through the 18th Annual Ravens Coat Giveaway at the Helping Up Mission men’s shelter. Later that month, C Bradley Bozeman, CB Marlon Humphrey, DB/LB Anthony Levine Sr., OLB Pernell McPhee, CB Marcus Peters, CB Jimmy Smith and T Ronnie Stanley teamed up to purchase nearly 1,500 turkeys and side dishes for families throughout Baltimore. OLB Tyus Bowser, CB Khalil Dorsey, DT Justin Ellis, ILB Malik Harrison, OLB Daelin Hayes, RB Nate McCrary, RB Latavius Murray, OLB Odafe Oweh, TE Tony Poljan, WR James Proche II, S Geno Stone and S Ar’Darius Washington joined their teammates to distribute the food to pre-selected families across five different locations, including churches, schools and community centers. Ravens Legends also continued to be a positive force in the Baltimore community, as Ravens Director of Player Engagement and former LB Jameel McClain, former LB Bart Scott and Hall of Fame S Ed Reed all hosted their own capstone events.

11/15 C Bradley Bozeman, Ravens cheerleaders and Poe visited Hampden Elementary/Middle School to recognize 2021 M&T Bank Touchdown for Teachers award winner Muhammad Benyameen. 11/21 Alongside the B.A.M. Project, (Black America Movement), CB Khalil Dorsey (left) collected and distributed new and gentlyworn clothing to men, women and children of West Baltimore. 11/28 Prior to the Ravens hosting the Browns on Sunday Night Football, Maryland Food Bank, Von Paris and WBAL volunteers collected monetary and non-perishable food donations outside all M&T Bank Stadium gates.
