Trusted by the Ravens for 19 years... trusted by Baltimore for generations.

Trusted medical team of the Baltimore Ravens. And you.

quoth the raven

“Roquan’s loud – fans probably hear him if they’re in the 100s [sections]. His energy is infectious. You don’t want to be the guy that isn’t matching his energy. We go as he goes, and that’s a credit to him the way that he plays. That’s why he’s so great, and I think without him out there, we’re a totally different defense – just top to bottom mentally and physically. He gets it going.”

The Baltimore Ravens, who host the Colts (1-1) today, are 2-0 for the seventh time (2020, 2019, 2017, 2016, 2009 & 2008) during head coach John Harbaugh’s 16-year tenure, while Baltimore is seeking its third-ever 3-0 start under Coach Harbaugh (2016 & 2009).

Indianapolis leads the all-time regular season series vs. Baltimore, 8-6, and holds a 2-1 advantage in postseason play. Under Coach Harbaugh, the Ravens are 5-4 vs. Indy (4-3 regular season & 1-1 playoffs), with Baltimore winning the past three matchups between these two teams.

Last Sunday at Cincinnati, the Ravens emerged with a 27-24 victory behind a balanced offensive attack that totaled 415 yards (237 passing & 178 rushing). Baltimore’s defense was equally impressive, limiting the Bengals to 282 yards – including just 66 rushing – and recording an INT (S Geno Stone). QB Lamar Jackson connected with seven different receivers, including WR Nelson Agholor (5 for 63 w/ 1 TD), TE Mark Andrews (5 for 45 w/ 1 TD) and WR Zay Flowers (4 for 62, including a 52-yard strike). Jackson was 24-of-33 for 237 yards and 2 TDs (112.8 rating), adding 54 more on the ground. RB Gus Edwards tallied a game-high 62 rushing yards (6.2 avg. & 1 TD), including a 5-yard burst to seal the win on third-and-1 with 1:15 remaining.

NUMBERS TO NOTE

6 – Ravens to record a sack through two weeks: OLB Jadeveon Clowney, DT Justin Madubuike, OLB David Ojabo, LB Patrick Queen, LB Roquan Smith and DB Ar’Darius Washington.

20-5 – The Ravens’ record at home in September under head coach John Harbaugh (since 2008), the league’s second-best mark, only behind GB’s 21-4-1 record.

23 – Total yards the Ravens’ defense has allowed in the first quarter of its two games this season. Additionally, Baltimore opponents have yet to gain a first down in the opening quarter of a game.

47-16 – QB Lamar Jackson’s regular season record as a starter, including a 2-0 mark vs. Indianapolis. Jackson owns a 125.5 rating vs. the Colts, passing for 612 yards, 4 TDs and 0 INTs. He’s also added 120 rushing yards and 1 TD.

Following today’s game against the Colts, the Ravens will play three consecutive contests away from M&T Bank Stadium: at Cleveland (10/1), at Pittsburgh (10/8) and vs. Titans (10/15 in London).

ON MAKING CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT:

“There are so many things we can get better at and work on. We’ll get pointed toward [the game against the Colts today], which will be a bigger challenge, because as you go along in the season, everybody gets better. You have to keep getting better just to stay the same. Then, you have to outpace your opponents, in terms of improvement.”

“I love going to war with my guys. I love football, and I love being around these guys.”
– Mark Andrews

Now his sixth year in the Purple and Black, Mark Andrews has typically been the workhorse of the Ravens’ receiving attack.

Andrews has led the Ravens in targets, receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns in three of the past four seasons, including each of the past two. He already ranks in the Top 5 in each of Baltimore’s career receiving categories, notching 336 receptions for 4,313 yards and 34 touchdowns.

The three-time Pro Bowler has an undeniable connection with quarterback Lamar Jackson, a chemistry that has made him Jackson’s go-to target. When Baltimore needs a clutch play, Andrews has been the one to make it.

But with a redesigned offense under new offensive coordinator Todd Monken and an arsenal of new weapons at wide receiver in rookie Zay Flowers, Odell Beckham Jr. and Nelson Agholor, many have pondered how the star tight end’s role will develop.

Will Andrews still be a focal point of the offense? Will he continue to be the most reliable target?

The Arizona native is tuning out the noise. He doesn’t care about how his game looks on paper. Andrews embracing the change.

“It’s important to spread the ball out,” No. 89 said on the eve of the Ravens’ first training camp practice. “I know the guys that we have on this roster are able to get open, make big-time catches and do all those different things. Being a team guy, I just want to win games. That’s all that matters to me.”

Andrews’ intense focus on winning and confidence in his quarterback aren’t anything new. He brings an intensity to everything he does, from the practice field to gamedays.

“I love going to war with my guys. I love football, I love being around these guys, and we fight so hard to be able to put that together on gameday,” Andrews stated. “That’s what it’s all about.”

Even with the new weapons and new scheme, Andrews is still in line for a starring role. Don’t get it twisted.

In his Week 2 debut against the Cincinnati Bengals, he had five receptions for 45 yards, including a beautiful 3-yard grab he extended to break the goal line for a touchdown in the 27-24 AFC North Division victory.

“Coach Monken loves his tight ends, so we’re going to be able to call big plays

and make big plays,” Andrews said. “We’re going to continue to carve out our niche in the offense, and week by week, continue to expand on it.”

A team player above all else, the only thing on Andrews’ mind is winning football games. He is committed to doing anything and everything it takes to hoist the Lombardi Trophy in February, even if that means celebrating teammates’ touchdowns more often.

Second-year OLB David Ojabo hopes 2023 will be his comeback year after an Achilles injury sidelined him a majority of his rookie season. In Week 1 vs. Houston, the Nigeria native and Michigan product became the first Raven to produce a strip-sack in back-to-back games (dating back to last season on 1/8/23 at Cin.) since OLB Matthew Judon in 2019. Get to know him more below:

Do you have a favorite professional team other than the Ravens?

 My favorite NBA team is the Boston Celtics. Unfortunately, they lost in the playoffs this year, but hopefully they’ll have better luck next year.

What job would you have if you weren’t playing football?

 If I wasn’t playing football right now, I would be a professional gamer. Shoutout Fortnite.

What do you envision for life after football?

 For life after football, I see myself in the hills of Scotland, living peacefully with my family.

If you could switch lives with any one teammate for one day, who would you choose?

 Odafe [Oweh], man. He’s a super star. I’m trying to see what being a super star would be like.

What is your favorite place that you’ve visited?

 Probably South Africa. When I was little, I went on a safari or mission trip. It was really hot though!

Do you have any hidden talents?

 Yes, I play the saxophone, trumpet and the drums.

What was your favorite course you took in college?

 My poetry class. We just read a lot of poetry.

What is on your bucket list (non-football related)?

 I probably want to go skydiving at some point.

What is your go-to karaoke song?

 What’s that one that goes ‘Ain’t no mountain high enough’?
