BEC Announces 2019 Scholarship Winners

BEC is proud to announce the winners of the 2019 BEC scholarships. Each year, BEC awards ten $2,500 college scholarships to outstanding high school seniors and college students.

The scholarship program was established in 1998 to encourage and assist in the educational pursuits of BEC members, their immediate family members or applicants who reside in the service area.

Scholarship funds may be used for the payment of tuition, enrollment fees, books, supplies and/or equipment required for courses of instruction at any accredited four-year university or college, junior college or TEA-approved trade school.

Winners were chosen by the New Braunfels Area Community Foundation (NBACF). The NBACF fields all applicants and filters those applicants based on criteria set up by BEC through an anonymous process. Congratulations to all of the winners!
