The world imbibes innumerable bounties of nature, oxygen being nature’s nest gift to us. However, nature also unleashes its wrath on us as a result of subsequent ignorance from our part. Climate change, population growth, and urbanization are contributing to an increase in both the number and severity of disasters, with the Asia Pacic region particularly badly hit. It is therefore of utmost importance to put our shields up in times of despair, in addition to conserving our environment to prevent its frequency. ‘The Disaster Management week’, from 21st September to 27th September will comprise of:

1. Open Session: Webinar on “Combating the Duel Challenges Climate Changes & Covid-19” scheduled to be held on 27th September.

2. Closed Session: Two participants from each NMO from the selected delegation will receive the opportunity to participate in THE CLOSED & COMPREHENSIVE SESSIONS session on disaster management aims to provide a 360 view of the essentials of disaster management.
