BLENDING WITHIN ] ||
Flexible Goes with the flow Open to new ideas Team players Adapting to change Versatile
MY STORY ||
Design for me is a creative process; it is all about pushing the boundaries often to unexpected directions and experimenting with different techniques to come up with the right solution. It is about being comfortable and adapting to any new challenge or changing situations, regardless of your background and skills. Even great design aims to create a solution that adapts with people’s lives and works so well that it feels natural. Similarly, one must constantly keep abreast of the latest research, new products, and new techniques to keep up with the changing world. Blending Within is my journey of adapting to the changing world, and I take pride in being up - to - date on the recent trends in digital technology. I adapt my style of work to the newest things that arise because I think design is always at the forefront of culture.

OBJECTIVE ||
The objective of this project is to design print & digital materials for a hypothetical film festival that represents the world of chosen director through a consistent visual language and design deliverables working as cohesive and integrated system.
STRATEGY ||
Alfred Hitchcock was a distinguished Soviet director known for his highly personalized and poetic films. Throughout his cinematic works themes of dark comedy, suspense and romance, often a combination of the three created a dynamic story. Turncoat emphasizes how significant human relationships—be it, lovers, family or friends— are pervaded by deceit and betrayal, ultimately leading the betrayer towards a deadly malignant fate. I used the texture of lace as it had an elegant feel to it, and the diagonal gradient is a way of mimicking elements at an angle without distorting the image. The festival is a visual journey of the filmmaker’s works, ideas and beliefs in an intriguing and elegant structure.

A MYSTERIOUS SHIFT ]
OBJECTIVE ||
The objective of this project was to explore future developments and possibilities, considering today’s conceptual solutions, aesthetics and technology. Based on endless imagination and current advanced technology, I was asked to envision how far design can progress.
STRATEGY ||
Sleep is a mysterious shift in consciousness that our bodies require every day. It is vital for our health and well being. When we don’t sleep, not only do we function poorly, but we also put our health at risk. Therefore, I have come up with ideas where technology can aid or at least optimize sleep time. The design direction and nomenclature emphasize illusionary and dreamlike visuals that are closely associated with sleep.

WISHCRAFT ]
OBJECTIVE ||
I was asked to create a hypothetical brand that attempts to address a social problem through a conceptual design solution and multiple design deliverables that cover the range of informational, retail and promotional materials.
STRATEGY ||
The living conditions on earth are degrading. Forests are disappearing, pollution is on the rise, and we are polluting our land and our oceans by dumping all the waste in them. Therefore I created the brand Wishcraft, which not only inspires young millennials but also gives them a new perspective to reuse waste products and create something useful out of them. I combined two vastly contrasting aspect—dull, rough, hand-drawn sketches of waste products and bright, fun and attractive images of toys—to show how the brand magically changes lifeless things into something that is full of excitement. The main objective of Wishcraft is to promote methods of reusing waste.

GLAM UP ]
OBJECTIVE ||
For this project I was asked to create an app from concept to prototype. The process includes a design brief, audience profiling, wire framing, user testing and interface design.
STRATEGY ||
I designed an app that could create a friendly exchange between two groups of individuals: young people who can’t afford going to expensive parlors and young makeup artists who are in search of jobs. This app allows people to search for makeup artists in their location and book appointments according to their convenience. The design direction was elegant and friendly. Therefore, I chose Archer for a typeface, and a color palette with heightened contrast to convey a classy and elegant feel.

SEEING THE UNSEEN ]
OBJECTIVE ||
This project involved extensive research, writing, image-gathering and design. For this project I was asked to mentally and physically record things as I encounter them in my daily routine. These recordings then informed the content and visual direction for writing and designing the book.
STRATEGY ||
My idea for this project was to give my dreams a visual representation. Therefore, every morning I wrote a paragraph describing the dream I had night before. Keeping the story in mind, I photographed every instance that described or was related to my dream. I distorted the images to give them an incomplete and a dreamy look; further, the images were converted into gray scale to emphasize the concept and approach of the book.
