JUNIORS/INTERMEDIATE FUNDING (HANDICAPS 4-9) BOYS & GIRLS

JUNIORS/INTERMEDIATE FUNDING (HANDICAPS 10-32 BOYS AND GIRLS) ➤ BGC Must be home club ➤ Available to players between the ages of (14-24) ➤ Eligible for players between the handicap range of (10-32) both boys and girls ➤ Must play a minimum of (6) JNJGF events annually

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS ➤ Eligible to attend the quarterly clinics with club professional at Milperra Driving range ➤ Eligible to receive a 50% discount on all golf lessons with the club’s head professional ➤ Eligible to be selected for Encourage Shield and Junior Pennants representative teams ➤ BGC Academy will subside 50% of entry fees into JNG events and other approved events ($200 maximum limit) ➤ Eligible to attend fitness training sessions held each school holidays

JUNIORS/COLTS SUPPORT (ELITE LEVEL) HANDICAPS – BOYS (3) OR BETTER & GIRLS (5) OR BETTER ➤ BGC Must be home club ➤ Players must apply for the funding assistance by completing the player funding application form and submitting this form to the junior chairman ➤ Players must attend an interview prior to being granted funding benefits ➤ BGC must be the player’s home club for a minimum of (6 months). Any new member to BGC must pay fees up front and will be reimbursed for any financial assistance once the criteria are met ➤ Available to players between the ages of (14-24) ➤ Must represent BGC at all levels of representation when selected. Including ¯ Major Pennants ¯ Eric Apperley Shield ¯ Junior Pennants ¯ Encourage Shield ¯ Other representative events the club nominates to participate in ➤ Must be off a handicap of (3) or better for a minimum of (3 months). Golf link records must be provided. Player’s handicaps may vary above the (3) handicap within the membership year. All financial assistance benefits will be reviewed on a regular basis ➤ Must attend the annual golfing coaching camp when invited. A minimum attendance of (3) other events must also be maintained annually. Such events include ¯ School Holiday clinics ¯ Corporate trade day events ¯ Junior fundraising events ➤ Players must participate in the following BGC events annually: ¯ Club Championships ¯ Foursomes Championships ¯ Bankstown Cup ¯ Play a minimum of (1) competition game per month at BGC. When playing these games you must play with a minimum of (2) other members outside of the junior or junior/intermediate membership category ¯ Must play a minimum of 12 vardon rounds per year ¯ Must enter the NSW Amateur & NSW Open qualifying events ¯ Must maintain a position in the top 100 NSW vardon ranking averages each year

➤ Must attend a (12) monthly interview with the General Manager and Head professional to review golfing performance and general well-being ➤ All financial benefit claims to be made at the end of each 3 monthly quarter A claim form must be filled out correctly and submitted with each request ➤ Exceptions to all of the above will be taken into consideration for individual circumstances such as (education & study, illness or injury and or other personal issues)

BANKSTOWN GC GOLF ACADEMY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM ➤ Players must apply for the scholarship program by completing the required application form and submitting this form to the BGC Academy chairman ➤ All players must attend an interview prior to being granted a scholarship ➤ BGC must be home club for a minimum of (6 months). If you’re a new member of BGC must pay fees up front and will be reimbursed. Any new member to BGC must pay fees up front and will be reimbursed for any financial assistance once the criteria are met. ➤ Only available for application to players between the ages of (16-22). If a player is in the program prior to the age of 22 they are eligible to stay in the program until they are 24, providing they continue to meet the criteria ➤ Must represent BGC at all levels of representation when selected. Including ¯ Major Pennants ¯ Eric Apperley Shield ¯ Other representative events the club nominates to participate in ➤ Must be off a handicap of scratch or better for a minimum of (3 months) to apply, with a minimum of 12 rounds being played during the 3 month period. Golf link records must be provided. Player’s handicaps may vary above the scratch handicap within the scholarship. All player’s performance will be reviewed on a quarterly basis. Players must attend in person to the quarterly review ➤ Must attend the annual golfing coaching camp when invited. A minimum attendance of (4) other events must also be attended annually. Such events include ¯ School Holiday clinics ¯ Corporate trade day events ¯ Junior fundraising events ➤ Players must participate in the following BGC events ¯ Club Championships ¯ Foursomes Championships ¯ Bankstown Cup ¯P lay a minimum of (2) competition games per month at BGC. When playing these (2) matches, players must play with a minimum of (2) other members outside of the junior or junior/intermediate category’s ¯ Must play a minimum of 25 vardon rounds per year ¯ Must enter the NSW Amateur & NSW Open qualifying events ¯ Must maintain a position in the top 50 NSW vardon ranking averages each year ➤ Exceptions to the above will be taken into consideration for individual circumstances such as (education & Study, illness or injury and or other personal issues)

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS ➤ BGC Academy will subsidise 100% of subscription fees (players must pay any other contributions or levy’s as part of their membership) ➤ BGC Academy will subsidise Golf NSW, Interstate & Vardon entry fees ($500 max) ➤ Travel and accommodation, cost can be included in this ➤ Will receive (1) complimentary lesson per month from the BGC head professional ➤ Will receive (2) complimentary buckets of balls per week at (Milperra Driving range) ➤ Will receive golf specific fitness training from the specialist fitness training program

BANKSTOWN GC GOLF ACADEMY COACHING CAMP CRITERIA ➤ Players must be off a handicap off (9) or less (2 months prior to the camp) to be eligible ➤ BGC Must be the players home club for a minimum of (6 months) ➤ Must represent BGC in all representative teams if selected ➤ Must have played a minimum of (6) Jack Newton events since the last camp or played a minimum of (6 Vardon events since the last camp and when the camp selection process takes place ( 2 months prior) ➤ Must have played a minimum of 26 competitions at BGC since the last camp ➤ A maximum of 14 juniors/intermediates per camp permitted with (4) Adults ➤ If the maximum of (14) places exceed the eligibility list, the committee will make the final decision on eligibility. Items taken into account will be: ¯ Behaviour Code of conduct ¯ Golfing performance since the last camp ¯ How many camps a person has already attended ¯ Years of service – membership’ ¯ Assistance provided to the committee and Head professional throughout the year The BGC Academy must approve all players eligible to go on the camp (2 months prior) to the camp being conducted. Invitations will then be forwarded to the eligible participants

BANKSTOWN GC GOLF ACADEMY COACHING CAMP ADULTS CRITERIA ➤ The (4) Adults chose to attend the camp will be: (Subject to change) ¯ Head professional ¯ Assistant or Trainee professional ¯ BGC Academy Committee Chairman ¯ Club Captain or Vice Captain ➤ The junior representative team managers may attend at their own cost (subject to the junior committee approval) or may replace one of the above if a position is vacant ➤ Parents who wish to attend the junior’s camp will need to seek permission from the junior committee prior to attending

BANKSTOWN GC GOLF ACADEMY & MOSS VALE GC FEEDER CLUB SYSTEM PROPOSAL Objective To build a relationship between BGC and Moss Vale GC and to create golfing opportunities for all junior golfers in that region through Moss Vale GC and Bankstown GC

Benefits for BGC ➤ All juniors at Moss Vale to be provided copies of BGC Academy package ➤ Create a pathway for juniors at Moss Vale GC to play representative golf in the Sydney Metropolitan area through BGC ➤ BGC members receive discounted accommodation and golf packages at Moss Vale GC

Benefits for Moss Vale GC ➤ The BGC Academy will sponsor the Moss Vale junior program for $500 per year This is to cover things such as: ¯ Juniors travelling costs to Bankstown GC ¯ Coaching and tuition fees at Moss Vale or Bankstown ¯ Equipment for the Moss Vale junior program ¯ Sponsorship will be paid at the beginning of the program. Increases to the sponsorship to be considered once the success of the proposal is measured through an annual review ➤ Any juniors under the age of 18 who join BGC will have their fees subsidized by the BGC junior to also remain members at Moss Vale GC ➤ Provide (1) scholarship per year to a Moss Vale GC Junior (under 16) to be a member of BGC. Moss Vale GC head professional and BGC head Professional to determine this player

Added Benefits for both clubs ➤ We create an interclub match for all members to participate in with Moss Vale GC. This match can occur at Moss Vale and be a (2) day event with a night stay over etc ➤ Create an interclub Tyro event challenge with Moss Vale to be held at BGC ➤ Invite all Moss Vale members to BGC open golf events at members guests rates

BANKSTOWN GC GOLF ACADEMY CODE OF CONDUCT (a) To comply with all reasonable directions of the representative team managers (b) Upon request attend all junior coaching clinics and functions when feasible (c) To refrain from drinking alcohol prior to or during the play of any representative match (d) Attend all practice training sessions, team meetings and trial matches and official functions during and after representative events. Permission must be sought from the team manager to miss any such related function, trial match or practice session. Exceptions may be offered on occasions for purposes which do not permit players to attend any of the above. The team managers will organise such events with a reasonable amount of notice to ensure all players have a reasonable amount of time to organise their schedules (e) To do everything reasonably necessary to maintain fitness so as to play golf to the best of their ability when representing Bankstown Golf club (f) To provide their own golf equipment for events; (g) To wear the clothing, uniform and playing apparel as reasonably required by Bankstown GC and its sponsors, in all representative teams events (h) To be responsible during events for their personal safety, well-being, personal belongings, golf equipment; (i) To play golf to the best of their abilities during events, and to ensure they are in a fit and adequate condition to play golf and represent the club at all times (j) Not to engage in any dangerous or hazardous activity which in the reasonable opinion of Bankstown GC which may affect the Player’s ability to perform (k) To provide a certificate of medical fitness from a medical practitioner nominated by Bankstown GC if required; (l) Not to make any critical or derogatory press statement, television, radio or social media appearance about or during events without the prior consent of Bankstown GC; (m) That they will abide by the Disciplinary Procedure of Bankstown GC (n) Not to bring the good name and reputation of Bankstown GC into disrepute; (o) That Bankstown GC may use or may authorise any other person to use their name, photograph, likeness, reputation or identity for commercial or promotional purposes; Bankstown Golf Club may at any time and in its sole and absolute discretion terminate or suspend a junior Academy member when: (a) The Player breaches any term of this Agreement; (b) Not without good reason follow the advice of BGC representative team managers and or BGC Club management or board of directors (c) BGC considers the Player is guilty of any act or misconduct which is prejudicial to the best interests of BGC or the representative team that are playing for, or (d) Fails to adhere to the policy as outlined below: (Behaviour may include but is not limited to) • Not returning emails or phone calls • Poor/inappropriate behaviour at a representative matches (club throwing, breaking of clubs, or presenting themselves to representative matches under the influence of alcohol) • Not satisfying sponsorship obligations or team regulations • Continues to make themselves unavailable for any of the team manager’s requirements at any time throughout the year • Brings the clubs reputation into disrepute through platforms such as social media BGC Academy committee may discipline any player within the Academy or junior representative teams at its discretion. All players will be given the opportunity to defend any allegations of misconduct with the committee. Depending on the severity of the allegation and the outcome of the hearing, the player may also be subjected to attend a disciplinary meeting with the board of directors as per the club’s constitution.
