Association of Commercial Aquaponics Companies (ACAC) since 2016 Spinoff from the COST Action FA1305 EUAquaponicsHub (2014-2018)

Aim of ACAC ACAC‘s main aim is to provide a network of SMEs whose main focus is the commercialisation of aquaponics in Europe. The group will collaborate and share best available practice information e.g. regarding regulations, licenses and related issues in each country, and promote standardisation and certification work in aquaponics.


Background of ACAC Aquaponics is developing in all European countries with an increasing number of startup companies aiming for • Commercial production • Design and engineering • Development of equipment and services • Training and education • Linking the production to tourism
