02 Technology Park - LDO Landscape Development Order document was created to get planning aproval for the new enterprise park located on the Soth of Oxford. The aim of the park is to bring investment to the town and create new jobs with a particular emphasis on the space and technology sectors. The site has a potential for around 88,000 m2 o f accommodation including high tech offices, laboratories and manufacturing accommodation alongside a battery and data storage f acility to contribute to the on-going success o f the local economy of Science Vale, ensuring to deliver not only high-quality places to live but high quality employment opportunities in various dynamic sectors. The location inspires participants to create a world class technology and manufacturing environment which will i ntegrate into the Garden Town offering a space where people can work, live and play.
7
The guiding approach to the design within the LDO area is to build upon a good hierarchy of functions and movements, provide good connectivity within the site with accentuated key nodes encouraging collaboration, and to harmonize with the existing natural landscape.
Road on the cross section above was design to be t he primary connector to the site and will also handle t raffic across the site. A 30 metre wide zone to provide the park spine road corridor, incorporating avenue tree planting, strategic landscaping, biodiversity strips, open swales, cycle and pedestrian routes will be implemented.

03 Longwick housing Longwick is a residential project, located about 15miles to the South form Oxford. Proposal includes over 175 new dwellings , of which 40% will be affordable homes in a semi-rural environment, wiyh extensive landscaping, open green spaces and internal roads and footpaths. Proposed development site is sustainably located within walking distance from the local facilities and bus/train links.

04 95 Immunocore - Milton Park Project takes place in the vibrant business park, located on the South of Oxford. The scope of works was to create new home for the Immunocore with the new CafĂŠ area and a link building. It was a real challange, to design space atractive for all type of users, that would be visually atractive, suitable for relaxation, buisness meetings, outdoor activities and social interaction.

Option 1 Linear planting beds between the paving, are designed to reflect the lenear p lating in front of the buildings, and to create visual unity of the space. Benches hiden in between the planting provides the seating spots. Toll plantig will not only visualy soften the paving, but also help to collect rainfall water.
17
Option 2 Curved path aim to slow the pedestrian trafic and respont to curved edging around the tree decks. On the sides of the main path leading to the proposed restaurant building, are pockets of planting with the benches.

05 TOAD - Oxford Artisan Distillery Requirements for the project were to design Visitor Centre space safely secured at night, with the clear pedestrian approach from the South Park and permeable frontage. Design should include a clear drop off point for TOAD’s shuttle bus, which will bring visitors directly from the train station. We wanted t he design to include the areas, where people can gather to meet and wait for the tour guide to start. Places where people can sit and make the most of the various views. Planting in the proposal meant to be visually attractive but also functional. It supposes to help to navigate around the site and create the coherent picture of the space, to tell t he story of the business.

06 Milton ParkLandscape improvements Shown project, was a landscape improvement scheme for the frontages of two buildings located in the business park, close to our office. T he site comprised a car park in a semi-circular form, bordered by evergreen hedging which had outgrown its situation and pedestrian path b ordered on the building side by 13 mature Hornbeam trees, and corresponding line of low-level lights. The space between the path a nd the building was taken up with some areas of planting set in a matrix of gravel surfacing. The condition of the planting was moderate within some areas but generally in need o f replacing to introduce fresh new, a nd welcoming feel to the frontage with new gravel. The objectives of the client were t o increase natural light level getting into the buildings, to improve the overall quality and appearance of the buildings facades, and to facilitate a more attractive, diverse landscape frontage. In order to achieve that, lighter canopy, lower trees were introduced to allow more light into the building and under the trees, what was crucial to establish new and healthy looking planting. Additionaly middle area, in front of the entrance was redesigned to accomodate seating area, surrounded by the new native hedging.

08 Hull - Waterfront regeneration Design brief was to design part of the public realm in response to both, present needs and in anticipation of emerging trends and issues The aim of the design proposal, was to bring new use and life, to a part of Hull’s waterfront. Based on the thorough research of the Hull’s waterfront, and surrounding areas, lack of good quality public green open spaces was one of the issues I tried to address. Proposal address historical value of the site along with the complex range of cultural and ecological factors and other challenges such as flood alleviation measures.

CLEANSING BIOTOPE - Cleaning the water - Habitat creation

MARGINAL HABITAT - Enrich waterfront experience -Flood alleviation -Reducing maintenance cost
FLOATING WETLAND - Habitat creation - Slow the flow - Shading which reduces water temperature and submerged weed growth -Carbon sequesting and removal of heavy metals - Reduction of wave energy

‘ Naturalising Urban Waterfront ’ Masterplan for Hull’s waterfont
The plan express a vision for the Naturalised Waterfront that brings a sustainable, ecologically productive green shoreline to the rich culture of the city. It suggests a new coherence and continuity along the waterfront using natural ecological technologies and creative management.
35
Masterplan priorities: - Reconnecting the city with the waterfront - Public access - restoration of the lost connection between human and nature

Visualisations
Floating wetland island is Constructed of durable, non-toxic, post-consumer, plastic and vegetated with native plants. Bioheaven island, floats on top of the water, providing a beautiful habitat for birds and animals. Underneath the surface of the floating island, a dynamic process takes place. What is more, floating island helps with reduction of wave energy and create shading which reduces water temperature and submerged weed growth. Plants that are used on the island, have a carbon sequestering and removal of heavy metals properties.

Above visualisation shows the view from the top of the proposed mound, where the view towards the industrial part of the Humber can be enjoyed in some places screened by a dense tree canopy. Raised mound create screening from the wind and protection from the flood in case of the high water events. Furthermore, the mound is designed to create habitat for a marginal species. 2.5 meters high mound, provide a view to the surrounding area, and the walkway along t he naturalised shoreline, on top of it. Ramps on both ends of the mound have been designed to enable an easy access for disabled users and cyclists. Stairs are located in several places on both sides of the mound, so it can be accessed from several places along the park. Some of the stairs are designed to be a sitting, surrounded by the trees, which will provide shade during the sunny days and protection from the strong wind at the same time. On the north side of the mound, enclosure and seclusion can be experienced, but on the Southside, the openness and exposure over the waterfront can be felt. 38

09 Fianl Year Exhibition and models The display was a part of the final year show, that takes place every year at Leeds Beckett University. All the final year students are preparing the exhibitions to show their best works. The main topic for Landscape Architecture studio was ‘Hull Waterfront regeneration’. My part of the display was awarded by the Landscape Institute, Yorkshire and Humber, for the outstanding undergraduate work.
