The skin around the eyes is thin and fragile and is constructed with few fat cells. We created special products with care to naturally support cellulite reduction and tissue detoxification by addressing the underlying causes of cellulite development. Cellulite is caused primarily by vascular changes that effect superficial fat under the skin’s surface. This is based on the principle that the body will heal itself if imbalances are corrected and maintained. The Ayurvedic understanding is that we are composed of five basic elements. Air is associated with the nervous system. If you are dominated by your nervous system and perhaps are very sensitive, your dosha (or body type) is called, ‘Vata’. Fire is associated with metabolism. If you have a strong metabolism, your dosha is probably ‘Pitta’. Water relates to body fluids and earth with the minerals that make up bone and muscle. If your body has large bones and muscle mass and tends to hold more oil and water, your dominant dosha is ‘Kapha’. Space is everything that holds the body together. If any of the three doshas are out of balance, it shows up as an extreme response in the body-mind association with the out-ofbalance dosha. For example, an out of balance Vata may become overly anxious or fearful about something; an out-of-balance Pitta may become too acidic from an overactive digestive system; an out-of-balance Kapha may balloon up with fluid retention or excessive body weight or their emotions may become ‘heavy’.
