Donald and the administration team quickly brought this COVID-19 under control, making it less fatal then the H1N1 epidemic when I ran the operation of 6000 beds in nursing homes. H1 N1 became really tough virus with 60 million infected and 60,000 deaths and one million into hospital. If it had been left to explode like in Italy it would have been tough, but still not as bad as HN1. The fatality rate when one figures in the asymptotic, the mild infections etc. are really about .05% to .1%. Many epidemics are much worse. Since my grandfather died in the 1918 flu epidemic, these flu viruses have always interested me. I studied back to the Black Plague in the 1220s. As a pharmacist who gave vaccinations I have watched these closely. Virus are different that bacterial infections as viruses tend to change, sometimes quite rapidly. We have gone through the Swine flu, Bird flu, SARS, H1N1 and many others. Vaccines are important but they cannot cover all of the flu viruses as they mutate, so you can get sick anyway even after a flu shot. Get one anyway. Those people that claim vaccinations are some kind of Evil plot are misinformed. The most important thing in my early life was the polio vaccine founded by Jonas Salk. Our nun, Sr. Rene took our 2nd grade class to a place where people were in the iron lungs and scared the hell out of us. Thank God the polio virus was not that infectious. Now if you are older, have diabetes, HIV anything that might make you susceptible to handle this disease for God’s sake stay inside till it passes. We will shortly get a vaccine so PRAY with all of us for Donald and the administration to get that done ASAP. Get your Pneumovax shot if over 50, also your Shingles shot. Most people die from the pneumonia not the flu that follows. And while at it get a tetanus shot. My Uncle Chester died of tetanus. So Thank God that Donald Trump, a born organizer, is handling this better than any country in the world. If it was tired, old senile Joe Biden in charge we could have had disaster. Could Joe stand there every night and fill us in on the Pandemics across the world? Think not! Even the nutty Left press could not cover for him. Trump's organizing abilities, learned while running companies that needed organization really helped. Old Joe Biden was nothing but a Senator forever. We would have been buried. President Donald Trump has rebuilt our economy, getting us out of these stupid WARS, that my kids have had to fight, will rebuild our country if we can get rid of old Nancy Pelosi and Donald will solve so many problems that I thought no one would touch. The wild eyed left hates our Vets, Sportsmen, soldiers, Conservatives, Tea party leaders, businessmen, and the Trump people. The wild-eyed left has hijacked the democrat party from the Blue collar working families of the USA. Donald Trump is finding them jobs again and getting them raises.
