Keywords: Interested, Curious, Hungry, Impatient, Observer, Interaction, Communication
Mobile cooking stations on the market focus on chef's needs, so they have some specialisations about worktop, refrigerated containers and range hood. They ignore customer's needs and requirements of show cooking. Thus, they should look more attractive, and they should enable flexible usage to cover different needs of events.

Firefighting apparatus for underwater search & rescue team Group Project: Barış Bumin, Mustafa Sayın, Abdulkadir Uruç, Gülnihal Karaca, Kaan Yaşa 2015
In collaboration with:
RESEARCH USER AND FIELD RESEARCH
Search & rescue vehicles need a capacity for 6 persons to transport. Search & rescue operations for stranded and drowning victims in lake, barrage, pond, etc.
There are not many vehicles specialized on underwater search & rescue squads. The usual problem is storage and accessibility to equipments in these storages.
DESIGN RESEARCH Problems
Divers need two vehicles for the missions. The heavy equipments and the boat are carried in Iveco Daily while the suits and personal eqipments are carried in Mercedes Sprinter.
They are obliged to wash the suits in the water. They change their outďŹ t outside even in harsh weather conditions.
Equipments are Other equipments are stored in required in order to personal boxes but dry up the suits. they are stored in a disordered way in the vehicle.
To create a space in the vehicle for changing outďŹ ts.
Organizing the equipments and boxes properly in the vehicle.
The boat is impossible to be lowered by just one person
It is not possible to lower the boat motor by a single person due to its heavy weight.
Solutions
To design a vehicle for carrying every equipment at once and together.
Storing and drying To form a specialized system for with the usage lowering the boat by of suit hanger. just one
Lowering the boat easily with the use of pistons.

VLINDER Flexible, open-source cooking platform Group Project: Barış Bumin, Abdulkadir Uruç, Mustafa Sayın 2015
RESEARCH Research helped to understand steam cooking method, and achieve adapting it to exible cooking platform
How Steam Cooking Works : Lid
Pots
Water Container Heat Resistance
FINALIZATION
- Steaming works by boiling water continuously - Direct contact with the steam - Such cooking is most often done by placing the food into a food steamer - The steamer usually has a lid that is placed on the top of the container during cooking to allow the steam to cook through the food
Market Research :
Traditional Chinese steamers are made from bamboo, and they combined with woks
There are some special kits for steam cook that can be used with regular pots
Steam cookers on the market, have specialized containers and smart timer
Egg cookers and pressure cookers have similar working principles with steam cookers
Opening the lid before ďŹ nishing cooking causes injuries. Also, plastic containers are unhealthy
Resistance and button failures because of moisture most common technical cases
IDEA GENERATION Use scenarios were developed to achieve new concepts for open-source cooking platform.
