To Bid at Auction
To bid at the Auction To place bids you must be registered with Langton’s To register, visit langtons.com.au and create a customer account. It is recommended that you do this prior to the event. Please note, a valid credit card saved against your registered customer account is necessary in order to bid. The Online and Live Auctions will be open for bidding from 26th March, 12pm at langtons.com.au
Live Auction Barossa Live Auction lots will be viewable from Friday 16 April 2021 at 9.30am. Bidding for the Barossa Live Auction will move from online at langtons.com. au into the room at 8am, where the final bidding will take place under direction from the auctioneer. Sydney Live Auction lots will be viewable from Thursday 29 April 2021 at 6.30pm. Bidding for the Sydney Live Auction will move from online at langtons. com.au into the room at 5pm, where the final bidding will take place under direction from the auctioneer. No further bids for the Barossa and Sydney Live Auctions will be accepted through online accounts after bidding has moved into the room, as defined above. The Barossa and Sydney Live Auctions will close at the fall of the auctioneer’s hammer in the room on Friday 16 April 2021 (Barossa) and Thursday 29 April 2021 (Sydney). Bidding online: Langton’s recommends that you place your maximum bid through your online account prior to the Live Auctions moving into the room, where the auctioneer will be bidding on your behalf. Absentee bidding assistance via phone is available through the Langton’s team, please send email to auctions@ langtons.com.au prior to the auctions to arrange. Please note, you may have the leading bid online, but the successful bidder will be declared at the fall of the hammer, by the auctioneer, live in the room.

Online Auction All bids for this auction must be made through your Langton’s online customer account. The Online Auction closes at langtons. com.au on Sunday 2nd May, 7pm. Notification of successful bids Customers are requested to check their customer account upon auction close to check for lots won.
Payment for lots purchased All payments will be processed upon auction close and the credit card registered against your Langton’s customer account will be charged. A Buyer’s Premium of 16.5% inc. GST is added to the winning bid when the auction closes. For lots over $10,000, alternative payment methods are available and can be actioned via your online customer account. Please note that payment will not be accepted during the conduct of the Auctions.
Collection and shipping of lots won Lots won in the Live Auctions (Barossa and Sydney) and paid in full can be collected on the day of the Auction. Collection of lots purchased is not permitted under any circumstances prior to payment in full. Live Auction items not collected on the day will be returned to the relevant Vendor (winery) for safe storage. Langton’s will supply the Buyer’s details to the relevant Vendor (winery), which will liaise with the Buyer directly and organise shipping to the Buyer’s nominated address. Shipping charges will apply at the discretion of the Vendor (winery). Lots won in the Online Auction are held securely in Langton’s state-of-the-art, temperature controlled warehouse in Victoria. Shipping charges apply: Metro $10 per case (12 bottles) Country areas $15 per case (12 bottles). Delivery guarantee is optional. Absentee bidders will be notified by email within five working days.
